Sky's POV
"I didn't know that's what you thought" he said to me as if it could justify what he's done to me.
"What are you doing here and who gave you the permission to listen in on my private conversations" I say getting angrier by each passing second.
"Sky don't be like that" Lucifer says walking towards me.
"No, you're not gonna just waltz into my home and say you didn't know because you damn well did, everybody did because every pack knew my dad was abusive and controlling but did anyone do anything? No, so you're gonna say you didn't know I didn't want to be told what to do, if you goddamn opened your eyes you would have known or if you pulled your head out of your fucking ass you would have known, so no you can't act like you're the one that went through shit cause you're not" I say feeling furious at him and I get off the couch and storm out deciding I need to cool off.
Lucifer POV
God what am I gonna do now she'll never want to be my mate now, I go over to their couch and sit down putting my head in my hands "you fucked up dude" I hear someone say, I look up and see her best friend Noah was the one who said it.
"You think I don't know that, goddess I know at first I only wanted her to make my pack stronger but she's amazing, the way she's not afraid to say her opinion or never lets someone take advantage of her or how she knows what to do constantly, you don't know how I was so amazed at how the whole pack praised her for doing her duties so well she didn't leave a single thing and did it all perfectly, I just wish we could be normal mates" I say to him feeling so drained "look, I think you should take advantage of the fact that she said you guys are dating, go on dates bro, just ask her out and don't be an ass" he says reminding me that Sky and I are dating.
I make up my mind I'm gonna take her out on a romantic date and hopefully we can have another moment like we did at the pack.
