Melody - Len Kagamine

A/N: Lucille is my original VOCALOID.

"Just tell him already!" your dear 'World Is Mine' friend whined with a cheeky grin, tugging onto your shoulder with Lucille(Rushiru) strutting beside you with her arms crossed. You sighed at Miku's question and said, "I'm not sure. Should I, Lucille?" .

The blonde turned to you with that same sour(but friendly) look and simply shrugged, "If you're that desperate, that is." .

"Ne, Lucille-chan, I thought you didn't even know what 'desperate' means." Miku said, letting go of your shoulder. Lucille sighed, "Don't change the subject." .

"What's going on?" a deep feminine voice called from behind.

"Meiko-san!" you exclaim in surprise and expectation as you look behind to see no other than the brown-haired 'Honey' singer. She smiled in respond, "So what were you three talking about?" . Lucille simply pointed towards you, looking bored.

"Doess your subject relate to Len-kun, Doremi-chan?" Meiko asked, hands on her hips. You blushed lightly, "No!" .

"Oh, come on, Do-chan. Luka doesn't mind us knowing the fact that she must be into Gakupo."

At that, your eyes widened. You never knew Luka liked Gakupo.

(Aika/Bobby:I'm not sure if this is true but my companion Momo-senpai said so when she introduced me to VOCALOIDs and she's an Otaku GENIUS~!)

"By the way, Lucille, Len-kun wanted your help on some new song." Meiko said, pointing with her thumb towards the nearest studio.

"Why me?" Lucille asked bluntly. Meiko pulsed an anime vein, "Because you're the best at song-writing. Now get going!" . As Lucille walked past her, Meiko turned to you with a smirk, "Want to follow her, Do-chan?". You were blushing madly by now, but smiling and you nodded. Just hoping Len wouldn't mind you coming along.

"Think she's gonna be alright?" Miku asked innocently, hand to her heart. Meiko nodded brashly, "Don't worry about it." .

Lucille looked at you before she went it the studio and shut the door.

Have she ever heard of knocking?

(Aika/Bobby:No, basically)

The door was slightly open so you looked in to see what the two were up to. Rin wasn't there. Just Len, sitting on a cube-shaped loudspeaker, holding a pen and a papaer, deep in thought...which he were kicked out of were Lucille pulled his tail to catch his attention. It was quite cute actually, the atmosphere. He got all serious again and started discussing about something to Lucille. You couldn't make out what they were saying for they were whispering. Lucille then stood up after a slight long discussion(via whisper) and nodded before helping Len write whatever he was writing on the sheet of paper. Lucille mumbles as she writes down. You couldn't make out what she was doing but all you heard was, 'We have a linked melody' . Once she was done, she grinned and handed the paper over to Len who beamed as he read the lyrics and mumbled them himself. He then looked up to Lucille and gave her a breath-taking smile.

You looked up. You hadn't noticed how close Lucille and Len were. You were about to let small tears drop, until...

"Doremi-chan?"

You jumped at the sound of three voices. You look up to see Lucille, Rin(who looked like she just woke up) and the blonde boy of your dreams. The three were looking down at you with worry in their eyes.

"Are you alright, Doremi?" Lucille asked. You nodded your head slowly, trying to save your gaze for each of them.

"Well, that's good then. What are you doing outside here anyway?" Len said, standing up.

"I...I wanted to help!" you smiled, standing up as well. Len simply smiled and answered, "No need to. Thanks to Lucille, I've already done it." . You played with a piece of your hair as he said that. The boy then turned to Lucille and a sleepy-looking Rinbehind him, "Can you two leave us for a while?" .

"Sure." Lucille said, straightly while Rin just nodded sleepily before the pair left. As the sight of them slowly fade, Len turned his heel towards you with that same smile, "I have to something to say, Doremi-chan." . Your heart skipped a beat.

"Wh-what is it?" you stuttered. The next thing you knew, you were (gently) pushed against the wall by Len.

"Since we met..." Len started, but then sighed and looked down. You smiled, and the presence of it made Len look at you. He was about to say sometimes but you put your index finger on his lips.

"I know what you mean," you said in a good nature and kissed him gently. You knew tell he was taken aback by this...but he kissed back with young and fresh passion. It was a short kiss.

"So...can you tell me what that song you just wrote with Lucille was about?" you asked, grinning after pulling away.

Len nodded and pulled out the sheet of paper. It was Lucille's Edwardian writing on it. It was a little hard to read but you caught the last words :
