Baby, you light up my world like nobody else…

It was just a normal peaceful day at Fairy Tail, if you can call it peaceful with the daily event of brawls occurring.

“Something tells me that bastard’s magic has burned his own brain.”  Gray, who sat next to you by the bar smirked at the sight of Natsu by the request board, Lucy confusing him with ‘’complicating facts’’. Natsu easily heard Gray’s comment and started.

“You wanna go, icehead!?”

“Whenever you want to!”

“Gray, clothes...”

“Wah!!”

Natsu began running towards your direction, fire in his palm.

“Not again...” you muttered, with Happy as you both hopped off, away from the two biggest troublemakers of the guild.

“They never stop, do they?” Kinana smiled, an empty tray in her hand. You shook your head.

“It’s adorable, though. They never have a real reason.” You giggled. Unknown to you, Kinana gave you a suspecting look before letting her usual smile cover it and she turned her heel.

“When is the wedding?”

Your attention was caught when you heard that. You  turned to where the question came from, and saw Mirajane in front of Elfman and Evergreen.

“There is no wedding!” Elfman argued against his sister’s point. Oh yeah! Elfman surprised Mirajane by telling her that he and Evergreen were getting married in the S-Class trials so that they could win. Apparently the white-haired girl took it too seriously.

“Ara, but a marriage will not be memorable without a proper wedding.” Said Mirajane.

“But-“

“And the man is supposed to present the woman with gifts too, to show that he loves her.”

“Then I want a big bouquet, a buttercream wedding cake, the best Four-Wheel Magical Vehicle in Fiore, the hairdryer I saw in that magazine, the best dresses, new glasses and a puppy!” Evergreen grinned as she listed out what she would want as a long mental note, playing the game of marriage. Or was sincere marriage actually in her mind?

You tried to hold back from laughing, but couldn’t help it. You burst out laughing so hard, everyone looked at you with bewildered looks on their faces.

“Elfman and Ever are getting married!!” you screamed as you accidentally kicked one of the tables towards a small group of members, who went crashing to the wall.

Some other mages started laughing too while others praised.

“See? Even Mikki-chan knows of your engagement.” Said Mira, smiling down at her brother, who sweatdropped.

This can’t be happening, Elfman thought to himself.

“I give up!” you turned to the table behind you, where you see Natsu’s head slumped on it, Happy sitting up by him. “Looks like we’ll have to live for another week with low Jewels, Happy.”

Being the nice mage you were, you approached him mysteriously slow to give out a suggestion.

“Natsu, I just happen to have a planned job the day after tomorrow, and I was wondering if you’d like to go with me.”

“Hmm...how much is it worth?” asked Natsu with a look of deep thought.

“Around 400,000 Jewels. It’s just to house-sit a mansion in Shirotsume.”
