"Move away...Don't touch me" I cried.
Just then the doorbell rang, I rushed. Luke came in. "The door was unlocked" he muttered.
"Did someone break in?" I asked while he tied his arms around me.
"...Hush..stay low, let me check..." he said and pulled me along with him.
Nobody was inside. I asked him a couple of times to check appropriately, but he assured me of no existence of another man.
"Did you visualize his face?" I asked surprised.
"Umm...not his face, but I think I must have seen him somewhere..." he said honestly.
He failed to recall who the man could be, it could be possible that he was not willing to tell me. Hell no! Maybe it was all a lie.
Still, I trusted him... Stay for the night...
Oh! I was not supposed to ask for it.... yet, I wanted him to stay.
He agreed to spend the night with me so, I prepared a bed for him...The next morning, I woke up with an amazing smell of coffee... I flattered my hand to feel the cup.... a sip was all I waited for... "Wow! You are a good cook" I said.
"I am not sure about that.." he giggled.
We both dressed up and left for office. At around three in the afternoon Luke came and told me that Holly was making a joke about my eyes. Firstly, I didn't believe him.
"Even Holly told me this about you" I said
"Holy shit, I would never do that, I respect you....." he said surprisingly.
Ring...Ring...
I wished to get back my eyes, so that I could figure out the wrong. But...
"Sorry, that eye is sold to another women" Dr. Murphy called.I just scattered into pieces. I wanted to share it with someone, but, I buried my feeling within me....
Even after hearing what Luke told about Holly, I went up to her and asked her to check my CCTV footage. I wanted to know who was after me....
She told me that she would do that for me...
The next day she called me and told that she would visit me. I was in a confusion whether to trust her or not. Asking beforehand made me suspicious. I told her that I would let her access the next day.
It was the time of office recess. I heard Holly taking to someone and she was nervous.
"Hey, I am ready to see the footage and I'll let you know who the person is," she whipped.
I nodded...
I gave her it in a pendrive, took my stick and left without getting into a serious conversation. Just told her to inform me as soon as possible.
What have I left behind,
Looking inside and finding out.
And what am I holding now.
Is what I need to figure out.
