Luke surprised me early in the morning. He was back. He allowed him in and he told me that he would not go back to Mexico. He even told me that Beth would also be back after a month.
I was relaxed and excited...
"Want to go for a shopping" he asked suddenly.
"Yeah, I would love that" I replied -- I went to change my dress.
We went to the supermarket. He got some veggies and coke for himself and some stuff for me as well. He even bought me a dress. I don't necessarily know the colour, but the fabric was soft.
Just then he called out to Holly. She came and hugged me. She was with some girl. She asked Luke to drop her at her place.
We all went to our respective houses. I called Luke and assured him that I was safe.
The next morning I woke up to a ping sound of a message. Oh.. I can't read a message. Who could that be.
Luke came over early in the morning, I brushed my teeth and he made tea for both of us.
"Can you read this message for me?" I asked, lifting my cup of tea.
The message says 'I am watching you'..
"Oh My God, who is that?"
"I don't know, some random number," he replied.
I lips dried up and my mind exploded. He sat beside me and consoled me. My heart was beating too fast.
"I think you should be at my place for a few days" he asked.
"No, I will be okay in here, but I just want to know who the person was." I said and I snivelled.
The stalking and messaging had gone to an extent. Luke suggested that we should go to the cops. My life was messing up with me.
We reached the police station. The place seemed silent. I wondered why is such a place so pleasant, are their no crimes taking place in the city or the criminals are not punished.
"Why is no one here" he mumbled.
We entered and walk till the head officer. He told him that I was being stalked by a person. The police asked thousands of questions and told that he would take care of the situation.
"I can provide you with security guards for a month" the police said as he flipped the pages of a file.
"Yeah! That would be great, so when can you arrange that?" Luke asked.
He paused for a moment and then told us that the guards will be on this duty from the next evening.
I was relieved. We both went back to his car and he took us to my place.
