Things Not Seen

Chapter 14

I left her place immediately. Luke told me that he would return for a few days to help me loosen up.

I got to the airport in a public cab. He came up to me and embraced me tightly. He offered me blueberry ice-cream, which was my all time favorite. 

He brought me to his place. His house smelled nice. I could smell fresh flowers. I sat with him and we babble about our life's.

"I would protect you till my final breath. I will be your eyes..." he stated calmly.

His words melted me. I possessed no idea why was he so sweet, but, I liked him completely. He didn't talk about his girlfriend, he just concentrated on what I was stating.

The time slipped by. "Stay here with me..." he demanded -- held my wrist.

Frankly, I never meet a man so kind and indulgent. He prepared a bed for me and he slept on the couch.

I roused up with the smell of black tea, I sipped a lot and it tastes amazing.

I ruffled the blanket and moved near the window to feel the warmth. The sunlight warmed me from the outside.

"I'll depart again for Mexico" Luke stated.

I desired him to stay with me. Days went past and he went back to Mexico again. My days were fine, as usual. I was promoted and the burden of work increased.

Me and Holly doesn't talk much, she enjoys her days with her allies. I simply go to the office, do my job and get back home.

"Hey, how are you, Luke asked me to check on you" Beth said crushingly.

"Oh, good to see you again, where have you been" I asked as I proffered her a chair.

"I got a better job in Mexico, " she sounded out with a smile.

She even told me that Luke was also finding a job in Mexico. I thought possibly he was the guy I could trust. Holly ignored me for a pair of days. I wanted to travel to Mexico to meet Luke, even though I knew he had a girlfriend and a perfect life. After an hour she went forth.

I completed my work and moved out of the office building. I went straight back home. My walkie-talkie rang up when I unlocked the door. I hurried and picked it up. Just then I realized I had not closed the door behind me...that was so stupid of me.

"Hi, it's me Luke, " he noted.

"Hi, there, so when will you be back"

"So you're missing me already, " he tittered.

I'm seriously missing him much. I had nobody around me. All my life I was alone, when I meet him I thought... finally, I stimulated the right person.

He told me that Beth wanted him to stick around with her in Mexico. I asked him what he wanted. Firstly, it seemed that even he wanted to be with her but later on I thought he would come back shortly.
