i still remember the days
i would sit on my knees and pray
for a love to come and find me someday i would pray that it wasn't just
an average kinda love
i know with that, i'd just run
my mom always told me
not to rush into something, with someone
i'd want to last a lifetime
but when God brings the one
i'm meant to find,
i'll fight for him with everything inside going to love him the best i can
promise to not want another man
i don't know who you are
or where you are
but i hope you're on your way
