Chapter Two

Habang naglalakad ako sa hallway. Nabigla ako nang may biglang humawak sa braso ko.

My eyes widened when I saw Gale Castillo. She's actually Spencer's current girlfriend.

She is one of the most popular model in the country, she's very pretty, rich and she's the kind of girl that mostly man's desires.

"Hey, Kheziah Montevero, mag-usap nga tayo. I know how close you are to Spencer but always remember those set of rules and limitations that you need to follow. I'm his girlfriend so please learn how to distance yourself if it is obvious that you're ruining our date." she said while raising her eyebrows on me.

Tumingin ako sa kaniya and I cleared my throat before answering. "I know my limitations and I'm sure that I didn't crossed the line." I confidently said.

Sinamaan niya ako ng tingin at bakas na bakas sa kaniyang mukha ang matinding galit.

"Talaga? Then Prove it, layuan mo si Spencer." she rolled her eyes on me.

Alam kong girlfriend siya ni Spencer pero wala siyang karapatang pagsabihan ako sa kung ano ang dapat kong gawin.

"I'm sorry but I can't do that, besides I made a promise to his family that I will assist Spencer in all things." I said firmly.

I was about to leave when she suddenly grabbed my arm and surprisingly slapped both of my cheeks.

Napahawak ako sa aking mga pisngi na biglang uminit dahil sa lakas ng pagkakasampal niya.

I saw a lot of students around us. Some of them are taking a video while the others are just watching us from arguing.

"Hindi lang 'yan ang aabutin mo kapag  hindi mo pa lalayuan ni Spencer." mataray na sabi niya.

She's about to leave me but I suddenly stopped her. I opened my hand while preparing it to slap her too but before my hand landed into her face.  I heard Spencer shouted behind our back.

"Kheziah! What the hell are you doing?!" he said furiously.

I saw how angry he was. He gritted his teeth while his jaw was clenched.

Kaagad na tumakbo si Gale sa kaniya at bahagya itong yumakap kay Spencer.

"Babe, she tried to slap me, wala naman akong ginagawa sa kaniya. I told you she's not that good influence. She wanted to ruin us, our relationship, and I won't let that to happen." tugon nito kay Spencer habang siya'y umiiyak. Hinagod naman ni Spencer iyong likod niya para patahanin siya.

"I thought you were just a model,    story maker ka din pala and definitely a script writer." I said sarcastically.

"How dare you!" sigaw lang ni Gale sa akin.

"Just continue to tell a lie-" Spencer cut me off.

"Khez, please just leave us." he calmly said but I know he's still angry.

"O-okay" tugon ko at sandaling ibinaling ang aking paningin kay Gale. " You have nothing to worry about because I don't have a plan to steal Spencer from you." matapos ko iyon sabihin kay Gale ay agad na akong umalis sa harapan nila.

Tila may kumurot sa puso ko at hindi ko napigilan ang pagpatak ng aking mga luha.

Akala ko immune na akong masaktan  pero ngayon ko napagtatanto na hindi pa pala.

Seeing the guy you wanted to be yours with another girl was really a heart breaking moment. 

I went to the library just to calm down myself. I don't want to ruin my day just because of what happened earlier. I shouldn't be affected.
