Chapter Seven
*Lizzie's POV*
I would count down 30 days until I will strike. 30 days will give me plenty of time to get my plan perfect, and also it would make them think I am at my worst. As soon as they least expect it, I will follow through with my plan.
I just have to wait, and prepare.
I've already had my 'visit' for the night, and even though I'm in so much pain, I need to start. I hardly ever sleep anymore, when I do I wake up half an hour later from pain.
I probably look soooo attractive right now.
A chair was in the corner, even looking at it I think it's going to fall to pieces. I give it a little kick, and the legs swayed, basically already falling to pieces. I have to be quiet, I can't risk anything. Turning the chair upside down gently, I remove one of the legs, it easily slides out of it's place. Maybe I should sharpen the end... with what?
Looking around, the room is empty. The bed is hardly used, the window is locked shut... there's nothing else around. I looked under the bed, nothing. How could I sharpen it? The bed itself was made of metal, there was no way of being able to break something off it, but it was rusty enough to maybe sharpen wood. Taking the chair leg, I went to the foot of the bed, and started rubbing the leg against the rust. Sure enough, it started to shave away small bits of wood.
The only problem was, where was I going to hide the wood shavings? I could just kick them under the bed, no one exactly checks my room. Problem solved.
Well, one problem solved, 99 to go I guess.
If I do a little a day, it won't be noticable. I shave half a side down to get the rough shape, then I will gradually make it... spear like I guess. 30 days from now. It will be easy to keep count, I mean, I don't really do anything, I have plenty of time to think.
I saw a bird outside in the trees, how I wished I could be you. I wished I could come and go as I please. Instead I'm stuck in these 4 bloody walls. I had the city to look at... but it wasn't enough. I wanted to be there, I wanted to be home.
I placed the chair leg back in it's home and made sure I put the chair back in it's spot. The dust on the ground showed me where it went, so I wasn't really worried. Not that they would exactly care. I just wanted to be as discreet as possible.
I stared at my arms, there were bruises tattooing my forarm, burns from cigarettes, small scratchs lines my legs from where I had been throw around. My lip had been burst again, I traced over my forehead, there was a lump. Probably from last week where one of the men had slammed my head against the wall before kicking my back, causing it to crack, loudly. I thought it had broken, but I could still move, so it couldn't have been that bad.
30 days. Just 30 days and 29 nights. Then I will be gone.
*Mr Kim's POV*
"She's really weak right now Sir. Maybe you should move your deadline forward. I mean, there's no better time like the present. She will submit to anything, she's a fool, a worthless life." My head gunman told me.
"Hmmm. I might. How weak is she?"
"Very. She has no fight in her."
"Right then, it's settled. I will finish this next week. Make the preparations. Now leave me," I said, waving him away.
Hah. Now I will have my fun. Stupid bitch.
Soon, I will be rich. Soon, I will be the most powerful gang leader in the whole of Asia. Then, I will make my way to the world.
