Chapter Three

*Lizzie's POV*

Me and Mei were wandering round the mall when I got a text from Jake.

From: Jake pal ✌️

To: Lizzie pal 👍

I need you

Uh, what? He was too busy the other day.

WAIT! Am I meeting his girlfriend finally?

To: Jake pal ✌️

From: Lizzie pal 👍

Why what's up?

From: Jake pal ✌️

To: Lizzie pal 👍

I just need to see you, can I come over?

What the hell Jake.

Ugh.

To: Jake pal ✌️

From: Lizzie pal 👍

Sure come over in half an hour

"Mei, I'm going home, Jake wants me for something, you coming back with me? Matty's hoooome," I teased.

"Yeah I'll come back with you," she blushed.

Before catching the bus we got a starbucks, but I'm allergic to coffee (what a sad life) so I got an iced toffee thing. I don't even know, but Mei is obsessed with coffee. I feel like I'm missing out... damn allergies.

*20 minutes later*

"Hey, what are you doi- oh hey Mei," He smiled. What a love loser.

"Tch," I rolled my eyes at the scene, he was hugging her, taking her upstairs to do god knows what. Dirty punks. "I'm fine, by the way," I shouted sarcastically up the stairs, but got no response.

I saw Jake walking up the path, and opened the door, surprising him.

He'd been crying. What the hell.

"Oh my god are you ok?" I asked, dragging him into the kitchen.

"She, she broke up with me. She cheated on me. She had been cheating on me from the first week we were going out." I sobbed onto my shoulder.

Oooooh that brat will pay.

"She's not worth it, please don't cry," I comforted.

"Um, sorry... For barging in, were you out?"

"Just at the mall, it got boring anyway."

"Oh, ok." He whispered. I rubbed his back sympathetically. He really liked her, and she messed him around. Those girls are the worse, they think they're so good.

"Wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure, what you got?"

"You know what I have, and you know what it's going to be..." I sang. I hated romance movies, so that wasn't going to be it. And with the given situation, I think he needs to forget about romance altogether right now. Instead, I pulled out a horror, my favourite kind.

'The Conjuring' flashed across the sceen.

*Halfway through the movie*

I couldn't stop laughing.

"Get off me, oh my god Jake man up," I laughed so hard.

"I can't, oh god no I can't watch this," he hid behind a cushion.

"It's not even that scary. Annabelle is way more scarier, and that isn't even that scary," I laughed.

"Says you, you're not human, you don't feel fear," he whined.
