Chapter III. My Mothers Heart

I stand at the gates of my becoming life. "Ms. Naomi?" I turn and nod. "We will be heading back soon, is there anyone you'd like me to give a message to?" I looked at the sky and thought for a minute. "Yes please inform the Mizukage that Naomi said to not let her guard down." The Mist Ninja nods. "Will do, Ms.Naomi." He gives a gently bow.

We stand waiting for the arrival of my new Sensei. "Sorry I'm late, I got lost on the path of life." I look at the masked man before me. "Kakashi Hatake of the leaf," The Mist begin to say "We now release Naomi into your possession." Kakashi gives a gently nod and looks at me. I turn and nod to the Mist Ninja as they depart.

As I walk through the streets of this village it all seems to..... Happy. I have always known villages to be sad and depressing. Maybe it was all the rain from the Rain and Mist that made it feel that way.

I let out a sigh. "Naomi?" My new Sensei says looking at me. I force a smile to my face. "Sorry I've just feeling a bit under the weather." That was a lie.

Yeah I didn't feel great, but I knew the reason. My chakra is to intense for my body. It has always caused fatigue and caused me to pass out. I never understood why I'd have spells of fainting while I was imprisoned, but now I do.

"Do you have a last name?" My eyes widen at his question. Have they not been given a full report on me? "Um, shouldn't you already know that?" He peaks at me over his pervy book, "Hai, but the Hokage didn't inform me of your information completely. She wanted me to get to know you since you'll be in my team." I gulp as a million names roll through my head, "Mizuno." He stops and sticks his hand out, "Well Naomi Mizuno welcome to team 7."

As we pass a ramen shop I hear a boys voice behind me. "KAKASHI SENSEI!" The boy exclaims running toward us. I quickly jump out of the boys path.

He face plants the earth as Kakashi sweat drops. "NARUTO!!" We hear another voice. Kakashi sighs then looks at me. "Meet your team mates." He says as a pink haired girl punches the blonde idiot, sending his plumping to the ground once again.

"Hello Naomi." The pinked hair girl says with a smile. I'm guessing kakashi has mentioned me. "I'm Sakura." She once again smiles, this time more kind. I nod and force a smile. "I think I'm going to like you." Sakura says hugging me. I'm taken back just a bit, but slowly hug back. "Hn."

This is strange. This feeling I feel. I've never been cared for before. I've never had any loved ones. Perhaps this is what being cared about feels like. A part of me likes it.... Could it be- Maybe just maybe I have my mothers heart.
