Chapter XXVII. Is It Really You?

Kabuto's P.O.V
I stared at the pebbles I control my pawns with. In my hand I held Itachi's stone. "Now where should I place him and Nagato." I mumble to myself. I toss the stones in my closed hand. "Kabuto." I turn to face the masked man. "Yes?" He glances at the pebbles in my hand. "I want Itachi and Nagato away from the fighting until we need their eyes." I smirk. "And what of Naomi?" He pauses for a minute. "Shall she watch over them?" The idea sparks an interest in myself. I wonder how'd she do, seeing her unborn child's father again. Its cruel, yet clever. Madara grunts. "She'd be sure to keep them from the fight." I say turning my bck to him. "Fine." He grumbles.
*Itachi P.O.V
It felt like a daze, seeing the light of the sun. As my eyes opened once again I realized I was once again in the land of the living. I stared at my hands in the rays of the warm orb in the sky. "I-Ita-Itachi?" That voice, it can't be. I slightly turn my head, in the corner of my eye I make out the image of my once lover. "Itachi." Came her precious voice once again. I close my eyes letting the warmth of the sunlight hit me. My lips form a small smile as I once again feel her fragile arms wrap around my body. I glance down at her tiny hands resting on my upper stomach. "Naomi.." I whisper. I spin around at the sound of her sobs. Pulling her to me, she cries into my chest. "Itachi, you're actually here." She says through her tears.
I pull away from her and look into her eyes. Shes so marvelous. She blushes as I wipe her tears from her cheek. "Look at me." I whisper bringing her face up to meet my gaze. I gently lay my hand on her belly, leaning for her lips in the process. As our lips meet I feel the baby kick. We both smile in the kiss. "It's feisty isn't it." I say giving a small chuckle. Naomi looks down at my hand on her stomach. "He is just excited to meet her daddy." She says covering my hand with her own. I kneel down to eye level with her stomach. "Hi there." I say placing my lips upon my lover's abdomen. Hearing her childish giggle makes me laugh. Shes so innocent, yet she has such a dark secret.
Naomi's P.O.V
I stare at my ex-lover kissing my stomach. I feel somewhat guilty. Sasuke is still in the hideout recovering and here I am re-uniting with his dead brother. I am such a bitch....
"Naomi..." Itachi's breath hits my neck, causing me to give a soft moan. Dammit, I gave in.... "I missed you so much." I close my eyes smiling. I lost one lover to meet my soul mate, who was killed by my current lover and yet here I am being intimate with my dead soul mate. For some reason It feels so wrong, yet so right.
I slap myself mentally. I can almost hear Kemono laughing at me struggling with my emotions. Sometimes I think it was easier having my emotions turned off. I glance over at Itachi, eyeing his figure. He is absolutely gorgeous, even dead. I slam my eyes shut.... didn't I say the same thing about Deidara?! What am i doing.... I pull away from Itachi's grasp.
"Itachi, I-" He quickly stops my words with his lips and of course I kiss back. His lips are as smooth as I remember, maybe smoother. As his tongue rubs against my lower lip I gasp letting him dart into my warm cavern. As his tongue explores every crevice in my mouth I moan softly.
Itachi's P.O.V
Her lips are like paradise and I would gladly visit them any time. Her mouth is warm and sweet. I have missed this so. I cannot leave her to my brother. She was mine before she was his, she loved me before she loved him. He might be my brother and one of the last remaining Uchiha, but Naomi is mine to claim.
"Itachi?" I quickly pull myself from Naomi and turn to face the voice coming from behind. I smirk. "Sasuke." I hear Naomi gasp and I can tell she is feeling guilty. "Is Naomi here?" He says taking the end of his bandage in his grasp. "Sasuke!" She exclaims running to his side. As he embraces her it sparks a feeling in me i've never felt before. I may be dead, but not for long. I will re-claim Naomi as mine brother.
