Chapter XX. Daughter of Hate

I give a faint groan as my eyes flicker open. All I can see is a pair of deep black orbs looking into my own. As my eyes start to focus I see blood streaming down from the man's black orbs. "Sa-Sasuke?" I whisper. I slowly try to sit up, only to find myself in extreme agony. "Dobe, don't move so quick." Came Sasuke's raspy voice. I grip my head in my dirty, bloodstained hands. Removing my hands from my face I notice fresh blood. "Don't worry, we are going back to the hideout." Sasuke offers his hand. I quickly slap it away and slowly stand to my feet. Standing to my feet a rushing sensation of pain comes from my right eye. I quickly cover it with my left hand. Squinting my left eye I feel Sasuke's hand on my shoulder. I turn to look at him and find something i've never seen before. A smile. A smile coming from Sasuke. Him smiling makes something stir inside me. A good something. I give a faint sigh and take the hand he offers me. "You're going to get Itachi's eyes?" I ask curiously. He closes his eyes for a split second then looks directly at me. "I need his eyes, Naomi." I hang my head. "I know Sasuke." I find my head raised back up to meet Sasuke's gaze.

"Do not look away from me." He slowly leans in. I do nothing but close my eyes, letting what is suppose to happen..happen. His lips barely brush against mine and I find myself giving a small whine. This causes him the smirk and press his lips firmly against mine. I wrap my arms around him, deepening the kiss. "Sasuke!" Both our eyes fling open at the sound of the voice.

"Sakura." Sasuke's back to his emotionless self. Sakura looks past Sasuke, right at me. "Na-Naomi?" I give a slight nod. Sasuke looks at me in confusion. "I was sent to the leaf by Pein." Sasuke nods at my answer. "Sa-Sauke I-I want to join you." Sasuke smirks. "If you truly want to join me," He pauses and looks at me. I nod receiving the message. "Kill Naomi."

Sakura's eyes widen and she looks at him as though he's insane. She slowly takes a few steps, but then she charges at Sasuke. Sasuke glances at me then back at Sakura. "Chidori." Sasuke brings his hand towards Sakura. I give a grin at the look of fear coming from Sakura's face, but then... "Sasuke!" I turn to see Kakashi Hatake holding Sakura safely in his arms.

"Kakashi, Should have known." Sasuke gives a faint laugh. "Sasuke you were going to kill her, wasn't you?" Kakashi sits Sakura onto the ground. Sasuke gives an evil smirk as he murders the innocent in front of him. Kakashi turns to me, "Naomi?" I see a look of sadness and a little of fear creep onto his face. I slowly make my way to Sasuke's side. "Blood Chidori." I stick my hand out as I drag a kunai across my wrist. As the blood begins to pour, my red, blood dripping chakra surrounds the palm of my hand. I smirk towards Sasuke as he activates his own chidori.

Both, Sasuke and I have gotten Kakashi out of breath. We make a good team.. well we are both Uchiha's. "I know how Lord 3rd felt now." Kakashi looks at both of us in deep sorrow. "Having to face your most treasured student, in my case my two most treasured pupils in battle." I walk foward a little. "Kakashi. Kakashi. You saw how dark my chakra was, you knew what I was!" I exclaim. I gasp and turn around when my eyes catch Sakura sprinting toward Sasuke. It's as though time freezes when Sasuke spins around and grabs her hand. He goes right for her heart with Chidori, when once again she has escaped death. A strip of orange grabs her from Sasuke's grasps. "Sasuke." That voice....Naruto? I slowly turn to face the man who saved Sakura's life. Sure enough there he was.

"Naruto." I whisper. He hasn't seemed to of noticed me yet, good. "Sasuke, why are you doing this?" "Naruto, I am no longer the Sasuke you knew back then." Naruto has looked far and wide for Sasuke and yet Sasuke doesn't see how much he means to Naruto. Naruto and Sasuke make eye to eye contact for what seems like hours, then his eyes wonder past Sasuke...to me. He eyes grow wide as I open my eyes to met his gaze. "Na-Naomi?" His voice has a slight sound of happiness in it. I close my eyes. Naruto, I am not that girl you fell in love with. I open my eyes to see his face just inches from my own. "Naomi.." I feel his hot breath on my lips. I gently push him from me. "I'm not that same girl." I whisper. He frowns and hangs his head. "I've not been able to go a day without thinking about you.." His words make my heart skip a beat. I want to crush this stupid heart of mine. It wont make up its mind. I open my unordinary eyes and look toward the sky.

My first love was Itachi, my second love was Naruto and my third is now Sasuke. Itachi is gone, and now i'm left with this decision. Naruto is sweet, caring, and kind while Sasuke is protective, stubborn, and moody. Yet Sasuke has a good side. A side that i've actually seen.

I look away from Naruto Quicky. "Don't do that." Comes Naruto's charming voice. His hand caresses my cheek. "Naruto.. I-i -" My words are cut when a pair of lips collided with my own. The kiss is soon over , but yet i still stand there in shock. Should I be happy? Should I be sad? "Naomi?" I quickly look at Naruto. "I found this in your apartment." I snatch it from his hands.. My paintings! I flip though the book until I come to a painting or Sakura blossons and a couple underneath. Mother loved Sakura Blossoms. "Who are they?" His words make me want to sceam, should I tell him that I am okay or should I make up a story like It was just a dream. I take a long, deep breath. "Naomi, Who is the man and women in this picture. "My parents." I say quietly. "I'm the daughter of Uchiha Madara.." I gulp "I'm the daughter of hate."
