Chapter II. The Hidden Leaf

I stand there looking into the eyes of my father. "I remember it all." I whisper. He ignores me, but I can feel his eyes staring at me. He simply grunts before disappearing to God knows where.

I collapse to the ground. As the rain starts to pour. I stare at the reflection in a puddle and as I run my fingers underneath my eyes they begin to change just like in the image, only this time I wasn't afraid.

I knew who I was now and I wasn't scared. I'm an Uchiha, and Uchihas don't know fear.

"Naomi." A soft voice says behind me. "Konan." I whisper. I slowly stand up and look at her. She looks way from my eyes quickly. I close my eyes until I feel them change back to normal. I know understand why everyone seemed to hate me, they knew my eyes held a power that even I wasn't sure how to control.

Konan lead me into a dark room where Pein stood. Konan bowed however I just stood there. I couldn't feel emotions anymore. "Naomi, you are going on a mission." Pein's eerie voice echoed throughout the room. I nod. "Where to?" He turns to face me. "You are going to the Leaf Village." "As a spy?" I ask. He simply nods, They have been told that the Hidden Mist have a girl that they would like to fight for the Leaf as a way to symbolize peace." "And I'm to be this girl?" I ask already knowing the answer. He nods, "The Mist Ninja will be here tomorrow morning, get some rest." Saying this he leaves the room.

I can't sleep. Every time my eyes close I have flashbacks of my childhood. I sat up in my bed and looked at the mirror hanging from my wall. I turned so I could see the birthmark on my arm. "破壊の終わり, End of Destruction." I whispered.

I had never understood what it meant. I still don't. I always kept it covered, it was just another flaw to separate me from society. "Why must I go to the leaf?" I ask myself. Thinking about the leaf brought memories back that I didn't want to remember, more pain. I closed my eyes remembering...

"But father, I love him!" a women's voice screamed as tears fell from her eyes. "No Kera." The man exclaimed walking away. The woman laid on the ground sobbing as a hand landed on her shoulder. "Kera.." As the woman wiped the tears away she looked up at the man. "Madara!" She exclaimed jumping up, hugging the man tightly. Madara wiped the tears from Kera's cheeks. "He will never accept me, I'm a Uchiha and you're a Senju." Madara said softly. "It doesn't matter, what matters is I love you." Kera said kissing Madara.

I shake my head and open my eyes quickly. I am not just a Uchiha, but I am also a Senju. I am the daughter of love and hate. My mom was the girl that stood within my visions. How I was able to remember her memories, I'm not really sure.. Maybe she is still with me.

The next morning I awake to the sound of rain pounding my window. I quickly got up and got dressed. I was going to make my way to the Leaf today. I take a deep breath, "Think of this as a new start, Naomi."

As I made my way to the entrance to the Rain Village I am confronted again by Itachi Uchiha. "You have regained your memories?" Itachi whispered in his eerie voice. I nodded. Itachi just stared at me with his black eyes. I raise an eyebrow, perhaps I haven't regained all my memories..does he know something I don't.. His face for the first time shows emotion.

Sadness, no that can't be right..perhaps he just didn't get enough sleep.

"This way." He said quickly. I followed him to the gates. "Is this the girl?" A mist ninja ask. Itachi nodded and I stepped forward. "Come Naomi." I gulp, here goes nothing.

I begin walking with the rain ninja, two I front of me and two behind me. As we make our way out of the Hidden Rain I begin to think on what Pein had told me.

"You are to spy on all activity going on in the Leaf. You will more than likely be put on a team so please behave yourself." I nodded, we're all Uchihas expected to act like animals? "We will infiltrate the Leaf later on so when you hear or our arrival please meet at this location." Pein hands me a map with a X marking the spot I am suppose to meet them.

As I daydream I notice the rain has finally stopped. "Finally." One of the ninjas say. I guess they are glad to get out of the rain as well. We continue walking without stopping for two days straight.

"Can....we....take....a break?" One ninja asked collapsing on the ground. The team leader looked at me. I nodded. I was fine, but I knew they couldn't go any further.

As we rested the sun started to set. "How long?" I whispered to the team leader. "Another day, maybe." He responded.

After we all were rested we started walking again. When dawn began to approach I could see the Hidden Leaf's gate up ahead. This is where my new life begins..
