Chapter XXIV. Kemono

The power I hold within me is abnormal. Nobody should posse this much power. When I lose control 'he' emerges. Its quite scary, the feeling that comes over me. I can feel every living things heartbeat and the blood rushing through their veins. It drives me insane. I've heard of ways to control the beasts that are within you. The jinjuriki's can control their tailed beasts so why couldn't I?
I've been sitting in my room for hours in nothing but the pitch black. I've started hearing the voices again. Im not sure why. I thought I had already understood everything that I was suppose to, but im guessing i am missing something. I stand from my bed and make my way to my door, slowly opening it I slip out and into the hallway. I've never really wandered around here before, so now is my chance.
I've ran down several hallways and pasted hundreds of door and nothing seems interesting. I glance down one hallway and see something different then the rest, A light. My eyes widen in excitement as I hear my fathers voice coming from the lighten room. "Sasuke go find Zetsu." I hear Sasuke give a faint sigh. "Where is he?" Sasuke asks my father slightly annoyed. "In my quarters, now go!" I press my body against the wall hoping Sasuke wouldn't sense my presence. The raven headed boy steps out and makes his way down the opposite end of the hallway. I grin and quietly follow Sasuke. As Sasuke stops and opens a door I feel my heart stop. I have never seen my fathers personal quarters before. I wonder what kind of treasures and secrets could be within. Sasuke slowly twist the knob and walks into the dark room.
I focus my eyes on the room hoping to get a glance of whats inside without risking being seen. "Zetsu!" Sasuke calls out. I hear a crash and then Zetsu's squeaky voice. "Yessss?" "You've been summoned." "Oh goody!" I smirk as I see Zetsu disappear into the ground giving me the chance to dart into the room, but with my luck I run smack into Sasuke. As we both collide with the ground I hear him give a faint laugh. "I was wondering how long it would take you to get nosy." He said standing to his feet. I giggle and take his hand as he pulls me to my feet. "Don't worry Im not going to rat you out." "Thank you." I whisper kissing him on the cheek. He smiles and slowly closes the door behind him leaving me alone in my fathers room. I smirk as I hear his footsteps quickly fading.

I've been digging through everything and nothing..... Nothing! I collapse on the floor. "Why is there nothing useful in here." I mumble. Just as those words spill from my mouth a book falls into my lap. I rub the nape of my neck as I stare at the fallen book in my lap. Picking the book up in my hands I blow the dust off of it. My eyes widen as I read the cover of the dusty worn book. 'For Naomi' Why would my father keep this.... Opening it I find a note written on the first page.
My dearest daughter,
I wish I could see your darling face. I wish your father would learn to love and not hate. Hopefully he hasn't stolen this book away and kept it from your prying hands. You are my child and he knows you will find whatever he hides from you. I know you will survive and become what you were destined to be. The demon within you, your father must not control it. It he is to get his grasp on Kemono then there is no hope. My darling, learn to control the beast within yourself. I believe in you....

My mother.....left this for me.... "Damn you father." I mumble clutching the fragile book in my arms. I spring up and flip through the old worn book. It's all hand written...by my mother. I quickly run out and make my way through the dark hallways to my own room. Falling onto my bed I flip through the book. Its a book on telling me how to control Kemono... I grin. "Mother...Thank you." I Whisper as I begin to read.
I close my eyes and concentrate. As I hear the sound of water dripping I open my eyes. I stand face to face with the demon inside me. His eerie growl and his piercing glare make me shiver.
"Naomi.." He squeals. His white fangs stick out in the darkness. He smirks as he blows smoke in my face. I stand there trying my hardest not to tremble in fear. To think this evil is in me....its terrifying... "What is it you need this time?" His red eyes pierce my soul. I smirk. "I've came to take control of you," I pause as his smirk turns into a frown. "For good."
