I woke up in my dorm as usual and got dressed. Today was the day I’d escape this accursed sith academy. I loved learning about all the different powers that could be accomplished and used by means of the dark side but I didn’t want to be limited to the dark side only. I wanted to learn about techniques and abilities from the light side as well. I also believed I wasn’t as evil as all the other sith in this academy. The entire place was filled with a bunch of rage monsters who claimed they would kill all of the jedi and bring peace to the galaxy for the empire. I didn’t like the sith in particular, they were abusive and rude. I had never known my parents because the sith had kidnapped me close to birth. My parents were probably cut in half on the scene, although this didn’t bother me for I have no recollection of them. My name is Gharren Dakari and I’m supposedly the next “dark lord of the sith” as my mentors called me. The entire academy see me as the most ruthless of people even by sith standards, when really, I just hate all of them. I hate their morals and their stupid sith code. I only stayed at this academy for the sake of knowledge and when I finish my training and gain the level of sith master, I planned on leaving and learning about the light side.

At any rate, it was time for training. I am only sixteen galactic standard years old and I’m on the verge of attaining sith mastery. I live and breath my training all for the sake of being able to free myself from this planet as soon as possible. After this I will denounce this sith code and live by my own morals. I walked through the academy halls that seemed to be never ending, large, and almost pitch black. Today would be the day I kill my mentor and achieve my goal of leaving. He deserved to die for all of his sins, reveling in his own power, believing that he is invincible. He normally lusted after the apprentices, male or female, and beat the hell out of them afterwards. I hadn’t planned to be savage though, he would die quickly. Torture is pointless when death was absolute. I made sure that my robes and gear were pristine looking as I strided confidently through the halls. I have always been told that I am incredibly strong in the Force and today would be the day that I prove it. I swept my medium length brown hair out of my eyes before arriving as it had fallen out of place. I began to summon the dark side which changed my brown eyes to a brilliant shining gold. “Are you ready, my apprentice?” The old sith master asked. “Yes ma-” I began to say, but the man was already on the move. What nerve he had, interrupting my response.

He was on me before I had time to bring out my lightsaber. He swung his saber with as much strength as he could muster, probably hoping to end me in one fell swoop. This would be easy if he was this careless the entire fight. I dodged his strike easily and armed myself with my lightsaber. It ignited with a sharp hiss and I began to fight with my glowing crimson blade. “Your through, my master.” I stated with a bit of a laugh. I swung my lightsaber and our blades collided. We came at each other, each with a violent thirst for victory. I rapidly striked and slashed with the style that I had developed myself. The master (whose name I wasn’t allowed to learn until after I killed him due to his arrogance; I wasn’t “worthy to know his name” as he always put it when I pryed and asked) struck back at me with equal force. Little did he know I was just warming up. I used the force to increase my speed by tenfold, letting my rage and hatred of this disgusting being explode into dark side energy. I was more than a match for him now. The man couldn’t keep up so he lunged back and let tendrils of force lightning spring from his fingertips. This wouldn’t save him, not in the slightest. I called to the dark side and retaliated against his attack with unimaginable power. The lightning dissipated as I gave a powerful Force push. He was thrown through a far wall to the area outside of our training facility.

It was a vast and  never ending desert on a planet that seemed to be nameless in the outer rims of the galaxy, perfectly hidden away from the republic as well as most jedi. I reached out with the force and stole his lightsaber out of his hand in the confusion of it all. He swore and fired off a couple Force push attacks which I stopped easily. It was time that I ended this duel. I burst toward him with blinding speed and stood triumphant over him as I jump kicked him in the chest, pushing him to the ground. I stood with my foot on his chest and a smirk on my face that even disgusted the other sith. “I’m a sith master so, I’ll be heading out now.” I said to him. He closed his eyes in defeat as I plunged the blade of his own lightsaber through his skull. I deactivated both lightsabers and walked away from the corpse, which now had a burning hole in its forehead. I momentarily  considered slaughtering the entire group before leaving, but decided against it. That would be much too easy. “I genuinely hope I don’t cross any of your paths in the future because if I do you will end up like our old master over there” I said as I pointed at the corpse. I robbed the academy of whatever credits it had as well as a blaster pistol. When I had finished looting the sith academy I stole the fastest ship I could find and left the planet. Now I would be able to train in the ways of the light and master the light side as well. If I felt like it, I would even assist any jedi in need of help; I would do about anything to stick it to the empire and their sith.
