You glanced around Family Restaurant (the main one in the show) looking at the regulars and non-regulars. Your shift was ending soon and everyone was served so you had a little time to just sit and take a small break.
But a certain table caught your attention; a young high school girl sitting and eating with a much older man. It wouldn't have bothered you if they had a little resemblance, being father and daughter, or if she didn't have her school uniform on at this hour in the night. But it did bother you because you knew the girl. Mogi, your best friend Takumi's love interest right now.
Your eyes widened as you realized the situation, She has a sugar daddy?!? Your blood began to boil. You immediately ran to the phone and dialed the Tofu shops' number. After a few rings someone answered and you didn't give them the chance to finish speaking.
"Is Takumi there?" you asked hurriedly trying not to make it obvious that you were spying on them but still looking out of the corner of your eye.
"This is Takumi." Takumi said from the other side.
"It's Y/N. I know you really don't want to hear this but- you need to come down to the restaurant right now. Mogi is here with some older man and I keep hearing her call him 'Papa.' I don't know- you just need to see this." you said in a whisper-shouting voice still watching them.
You heard a huff from the other side and Takumi said, "I'll be there soon."
Hanging up, you tried to act normally as some other customers came in. You seated them and brought around coffee checking the clock. 'He should be here soon.' you thought to yourself as you began asking tables if they would like some more coffee.

Takumi pulled into the parking lot, parking near the steps that led to the restaurant. When he looked out of his window, he saw a grey Mercedes. The only one in the parking lot that would look like an older man would drive. On the way there Takumi began thinking of why Mogi would be at a restaurant with an older man, he knew her grandparents had died, leaving no grandfather in the situation. He also knew that her father wasn't around so it only left one thing: a sugar daddy.

You had went to Mogi's table asking if they wanted more coffee, to which the older man said yes and said they'd stay a little longer so he was going to need it. You bit your cheek at that and went to one of the windows facing the parking lot to see if Takumi was there already. He was.
You sighed slightly and walked back to the counter and saw that they were on the way out already. You bit your cheek again watching as they left, knowing Takumi was going to be heartbroken.
In the meantime, the clock rang 11 pm marking the end of your shift. Gathering all your belongings, you began leaving the restaurant. Once you were outside, you looked around to see if there was any sign of the situation, but you only saw the 86 there.
You walked up to the passenger side and knocked softly and heard the door unlock. Opening it, you sat down quickly and looked at Takumi. His arms were on the top of the steering wheel with his forehead against them.
You put your hand on his thigh (in a friendly manner) and spoke softly. "I'm so sorry Takumi...I..I thought you deserved to know..."
He sniffled in response and you leaned over, hugging his side. Pulling away, you rubbed his back softly and he began to cry.
"How could I have been so oblivious?!" he croaked out.
"No one could've known. There were no signs of it." you said sympathetically. "But she never deserved your time. Nevermind deserved you."
He pulled away from the wheel and looked at you with teary eyes.
"You deserve so much better, Takumi. You're going to find so much better." you said encouragingly, giving him a soft smile.
He leaned over hugging you as you did back and said, "Thank you for telling me...and thank you for being here for me." Hearing him say that broke your heart. He of all people should never go through this.
You rubbed his back softly again. "You're my best friend Takumi. I could never let you go through this alone."
"Thank you." He said just above a whisper before leaning into your shoulder and crying again.
That girl will regret the day she made your best friend, Takumi Fujiwara, cry.
