Envy not the prince on the horse, following a determined path and dictated course,
Nor the man in the mansion with all that this world offers,
Focused only on the quest to further fill his coffers.
Do not pity the pauper, though hungry he may be,
From this system of imposition, he is able to live free.
While you're stuck in a cycle paying for shelter and cars,
He basks in the moonlight under the glow of the stars.
Do not fear the gangster and the thug,
Stuck in a pit they don't even know was dug.
Slaves and pawns to an unseen master,
Just unpaid soldiers, fodder for disaster.
Weep not over the lives of the fallen and lost,
Their day is passed and your destinies now uncrossed.
Precious time is wasted when you choose only grief to give,
Rather than celebrate their souls in the way you choose to live.
