"Maria!" I exclaim, running towards the girl. She smiles at me and wraps her arms around me. I notice a girl behind her and I wave, "Uh, hello!"

"Y/N this is Lydia," Maria says, "Lyd this is my bestest friend ever, Y/N!"

I give her a hug, "It's nice to meet you."

"Lydia's a new student," Maria says, "She came a week before you."

"That's so cool," I say, "Uh, do we still sit in the same place?"

Maria nods, taking both of our hands before leading us to the outdoor table. I sit in one of the chairs, along with Maria and Lydia. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn to see a girl that looked familiar.

"You are Y/N!" she gasps.

"Uh, yeah," I say.

"Can I, like, have a picture with you?" she asks.

I furrow my brows, "I guess." She pulls out her phone and takes a selfie with me. She squeals and thanks me before running away.

I turn back to Maria who snorts, "Wow, your boyfriend made you famous."

"Ew, do not call me that!" We all laugh and eat our lunch. My phone rings and I glance at it. Maria and Lydia smirk at me and I shake my head, "Finn can wait." It turns off then immediately rings again.

Maria raises a brow at me, "Just answer it."

"No," I say. It stops ringing, then starts again. I shake my head, I grab it. "Babe I'm in school."

"It's lunch," he says, "But I have important news! There's a new TV show that I'm supposed to be in-"

"Congrats my love!" I exclaim.

"That's not all," he says, "The other lead is supposed to be my character's love interest and guess where auditions are being held?"

"You're kidding!" I say, "Nothing ever happens here!"

"Babe you have to audition!" he says.

I squeal, "Okay, okay! I'm being kind of rude because I'm, like, literally with other people! I have to go baby!"

"Okay bye," he says, "I love you!"

"I love you too!" I say. I make a kiss noise into the phone before hanging up.

"What the hell?" Maria laughs.

"That was adorable," Lydia smiles.

"I think you mean disgusting," Maria giggles.

I roll my eyes, "He wants me to audition for some show, but I am not what's important right now! Tell me all about your lives!"

"Nothing as interesting as you," Maria says, "Honestly, we'd rather hear about you!"

I shake my head, "I kissed him every once in a while, not an exciting story. Tell me about you, please!"

"Uh, I moved homerooms," Maria says, "Lydia and I are in it together. When JJ finally moves schools I'll get to go back to ours and Lydia's gonna switch in with me."

"Wow," I smile, "I can't wait!"

Maria smiles, "And, uh, I came out to my parents."

I gasp, "How'd it go?"

"They were confused for a while but they're accepting!" Maria says, "They thought we were dating but I told them the truth."

I reach over and grab her hand, "I'm so proud of you Ria!"

"I volunteer at an animal shelter," Lydia says.

"Aw," I smile, "I've been trying to find a good place to find a dog, do you think-"

She gasps, "Oh my gosh! You should come while I'm volunteering, I could totally help you find the perfect dog!"
