The Old Me

I miss the old me,
The old me that mom wanted to see.
The old me that they loved,
The old me that they once have.

The plain-innocent girl before,
The girl they surely adore.
Unfortunately, it got lost and faced the reality,
The same as how I got lost my sanity.

If I were given a chance to talk with the old me,
I'd probably say that your pretty lucky.
They always compare me to you,
Silly, were the same but different to be true.

Some part of me,
Tells me to go back of how I used to be.
But I can't force myself to live in the past,
It's like, unpolishing a polished shelves.
