Chapter 32

Harry's POV

        It's already been four hours since Niall went into surgery. I've been reading magazines and texting the lads to pass the time, but I'm honestly getting anxious. I mean it's good that Niall's in there right? I would assume that Dr. Thompson and his team are being through and going to take the tumor out slowly and efficiently. Plus, I really have to pee. I'm about to get up and go find the bathroom when all of the sudden I see Dr. Thompson coming towards me. He has a smile on his face so that means he has good news. "Harry I have amazing news for you that you're going to want to hear before you go the bathroom." I look at him with an eager expression and he smiles even wider. "We were able to remove the tumor, all of it. There is only a very small chance that his cancer might come back, but like I said, those chances are very slim." I start crying tears, but for once they're not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy. I pull Dr.Thompson in for a warm embrace. I whisper in his ear "Thank you Dr.Thompson for saving the love of my life." He hugs me back really tight and says "Anytime Harry. Now I've got to get back to the OR to close him up, but you'll be able to visit him again soon. He might be a little groggy, but he'll snap out of it in a little while." He walks back to OR and I head to the bathroom because even though I'm estatic about the great news, I still have to pee pretty badly.

Liam's POV

        I just entered the hospital when I spot Harry in the waiting room. I call for him "Harry! Wait up!" He stands there and waits for me to catch up to him. Within seconds, I'm right next to him. "Do you have any news about Niall?" A smile spreads across Harry's face, which means it's probably good news. "Dr.Thompson came out about ten minutes ago and told me that he was able to remove Niall's tumor, all of it. He also said that he highly doubts that the cancer will reoccur." I can feel tears of joy forming in my eyes. "Niall's going to be okay? His pain is finally ending and he eventually go back to normal life?" Harry stiffles a laugh. "Liam, our lives aren't normal, but Niall will be happy again soon. I just want him to get out of this hospital and then do what I've been meaning to do." I give Harry a confused look and he smiles. "Liam, I am going to ask Niall to move in with me."
