Chapter 47

2 months later....

Harry's POV

      After two months of quite a lot of bickering, Niall and I are finally going to adopt three wonderful children. We put into the parking lot of the adoption center when I notice that Niall is eyes are glistening and he's trying to fight back tears. I cup his face to get him to look at me. "Niall, baby, why are you crying? Today is supposed to be a happy day." Niall smiles a weak smile. "I'm crying tears of joy. This is the day I have been dreaming of for years now and I can't believe that is finally coming true."  I can feel tears forming in my eyes too. Within seconds, they're falling down my face and Niall is wiping them away. He then leans and kisses me with a passion so strong that it's a kiss unlike no other.

        It honestly feels like a dream. The love of my life and I are finally going to start our family today. We agreed that we wanted two girls and a boy. I have always wanted to have a son and Niall has dreamed of having a couple of daughters. We walk into the adoption center and a middle aged woman is sitting behind a desk. She looks up when she sees us standing in front of her. "Hello, how may I help you?" I smile at her. "My husband and I are here to adopt some children. My name is Harry Styles. I'm the one that spoke with one of your employees about it a few days ago." She smiles and says "Right this way." The woman leads us down a long hallway where several rooms of children occupy. "We have children that are all ages here. In the first room, are newborns. In the second room, are toddlers. In the third room, are children that between the ages of 4-9. In the fourth room, are children between the ages of 10-12. In the fifth and last room, are teenagers between the ages of 13-18." Niall and I nod at the woman. "If you boys need anything, feel free to let me know." Niall and I thank her and she goes back down the hall to her desk." 

        Niall's POV

        I look at all of these children and they all seem wonderful. I look at the adorable toddlers and can't help, but coo at them. They are so freaking adorable. I tap Harry on the shoulder and he turns to face me. "For our daughters, I think we should adopt the set of 2 year old twins I just came across. They are so cute and very friendly. Both of them came up to me and hugged my feet and wouldn't let go." Harry kisses my forehead. "That sounds wonderful. Also, for our son, I came across this really nice boy that's 12. We bounded over music and it turns out that he's a fan of us too." I kiss Harry on the lips, not caring if anyone's looking for not. "He sounds like a nice boy." "Our daughters sounds like nice girls too." I call after the woman that we've our choice of who we're going to adopt. She looks at me and asks "Who are going to adopt?" I tell her "We want to adopt the 2 year old female Irish twins and the Scottish 12 year old boy." She puts her hand on my shoulder. "You two have picked out three wonderful kids. They're some of the best kids that we've ever had here. Anyways, you two seem like wonderful men and I know that you'll take good care of them." I hug her. "Thank you, that means a lot." She hugs me back. "To make your husband and your adoption of these children official, you do have to do some paperwork. If you would follow me to my office please."

        Harry and I follow her to her office and set down across from her. Her office is small, but very professional looking.  She sits down in her fancy office chair and hands us a few forms to sign. Before I sign mine, I'm curious to know her name. "Excuse me miss, what is your name?" She laughs. "I told you my name earlier." I blush. "I know that what I'm about to say might be awkward, but I already forgot." She rolls her eyes a bit, but not in mean way. "My name is Carol. Now if we can get to the paperwork please." Harry holds my hand for a few seconds and we get started on the paperwork. 

1 hour later.....

        Harry and I are finally done with our paperwork. We hand our paperwork back to Carol, who is clearly pleased that we have finally finished. "Congratulations boys, you are now to bring Emma and Jane and Jake home." Harry has a puzzled look on his face. "Carol, who are Emma and Jane and Jake?" Carol rolls her eyes again. "Emma and Jane are the names of the two year old twins and Jake is the name of 12 year old. Did you seriously not ask them their names when you were talking to them?" Harry looks at the ground, clearly embrassed for asking such a question. Carol then leaves the room, but comes back a minute later with Emma, Jane, and Jake in tow. Jake, Emma, and Jane all run up and hug Harry and I. Jake whispers in my ear "I've never had two dads, but I think that it's going to be pretty cool." I give him a nuggy and he laughs a laugh that brings music to my ears. Harry is holding Emma and Jane who both keep kiss his face. He's enjoying himself a lot.

        Carol gathers Emma and Jane's belongings and Jake gathers his. Harry, me, Emma, Jane, and Jake all walk out of the adoption hand in hand. We get into Harry's car and place the childrens' belongings in the trunk. Harry pulls out of the parking lot. We head home, ready to start our lives as a family.
