Chapter 37

The next day.......

Harry's POV

        Today is going to be the second biggest day of my life, besides if Niall says yes to my proposal and agrees to marry me. Anyways, I'm on my way to Niall's house to pick him up to take him to dinner. I plan on to take him for Nando's because that's his favorite restaurant in the world. I ring the door bell. The door immediately flies open and Niall's jumps on me and I laugh. "You're excited aren't you baby?" Niall blushes and I kiss him on the cheek. "You're so adorable babe. I swear you get cuter and cuter by the day." Niall smiles at me and says "Well you're cuteness must be rubbing off on me because that's the only logical explanation I can think of." I blush a tomato shade of red and try to hide my face so Niall won't notice it. I then grab his hand. "Are you ready for Nandos?" He wraps his arm around my back. "Harry what kind of a question is that? You know as well as I do that I'm always ready for Nandos."

        I'm only halfway with my peri peri chicken and fries when Niall's already done. I look at him and laugh a bit. He starts to frown. "Why are you laughing at me babe?" I cup his face with my fingers and say "I'm just amazed at how fast you can eat. Also, the way you eat turns me on. It's like a caveman hugging a baby penguin." Niall starts to laugh. "Baby I love you, but that was a horrible analogy." I sigh. "I know it was, but you got the point so that's all that matters." 

30 minutes later.....       

        We leave Nandos and head back home. Little does Niall know that he's going to get the surprise of his life in just a short while. The drive back home is about 15 minutes. Niall won't stop asking about the surprise. I accidently let it slip out that I had a surprise for Niall when I should have kept a secret until it happened. I place a finger on his mouth to quiet him. "I love you baby, but I'm not telling you what the surprise because it would ruin everything. All I'm going to tell you is that I think you'll like it." Niall pouts a bit and I kiss him on the nose. That should quiet him until we get home. 

15 minutes later.....

        I pull into the driveway and let Niall out of the car. I tell him that "You're surprise is just about ready, just wait here." Niall nods and stays put where he is. On the way to the brook behind the house, I run into Louis. "Hey Louis." He waves at me. I motion for Louis to come over and he does. "Listen Louis Niall is standing right out front. I need you to stall Niall for a few minutes. Can you do that?" Louis nods and I thank him. I quickly run into the house the candles and bring them outside. I light a few and place them on each side of the brook. I then signal Liam to text Louis to bring Niall into the backyard. Within a minute, I see Louis and Nialls' shadows and Liam to start recording. Niall looks completely stunned by the brook lit up and a wide smile spreads across his face. 

        I then get down on one knee and look right into his gorgeous baby blue eyes. "Niall James Horan, I've loved having you in my life since day one. Though, I never realized how much I loved you until we started dating a year ago. Now, I know that I can't go a day without seeing you or hearing your voice on the phone. I love you so much so I have a very important question to ask you." I pull out the ring and he gasps. "Baby, will you marry me?" Niall vigourously nods his head and I pick him up bridal style and carry him in arms. Zayn starts snapping pictures and both Niall and I are smiling from ear to ear. The lads then come up and congratulate us on our engagement. They all hug both of us. It feels amazing to know that pretty soon the love of my life will finally be my husband.
