Three

I jumped as the doorbell rang then got off my bed, going to the hall and looking down to see my brother's team here.

"Mom?" I walked down some then she looked at me.

"It's for your brother's birthday party, remember?" I rolled my eyes then turned, going upstairs.

"HANA!" Mom yelled then I knew Tobio was about to be very embarrassed.

Tanaka's POV
I watched Kageyama's mom storm upstairs as he came down then he winced when a door slammed shut.

"Uh, sorry for them." He said then looked embarrassed as we followed him to his room where we could hear Hana and their mom arguing.

"Oh, so it's my fault I'm like dad?!"

"If you hadn't chosen to live with him, this wouldn't have happened!"

"I didn't choose! You didn't fight for me! No, you wanted your fucking son over your daughter because he was good at something-"

"Don't you dare start with that again!" Kageyama shut his door, not that it helped any, but I knew he was angry and embarrassed by his mother and sister.

"Is it always like this?" Asahi asked then Kageyama nodded as he sat.

"Ever since Hana came back, they've been arguing nonstop." He said then a door slammed and his opened, Hana coming in. We all watched as she dropped on the ground next to her brother, her back to us, then laid her head on his leg.

"Hana-"

"Leave me alone, Tobio." She whispered, her voice shaky, but he set his hand on her back and left her be.

"Well, happy birthday, Kageyama." Yamaguchi said and he nodded, looking at his sister. Her phone rang then we watched her grab it from her sleep shorts, staring at it before answering.

"What, you damn shark?" She said but sat up, her hair falling in her face.

"Hey, Hana?" I called then she looked at me.

"You um... You can stay with us for a bit, after you've calmed down. If-if you want." She smiled then nodded, looking away as she focused on her call again.

"No, idiot. That's a friend of mine. Yes, my brother's too. What do you want? Wait, what do you mean?" She asked and pushed her hair back, letting me see a hint of a smile. And maybe even others could see it.

"Aw-awesome! I'll uh, I'll try and come see you guys. Yeah, yeah, I promise. No, I won't make you embarrassed about that. Okay, okay, calm down. Tell him I miss him too. Alright, bye." She said then hung up and looked at her brother, setting her head on his shoulder.

"Some old friends?" Daichi asked and she nodded, smiling into Kageyama's shoulder.

"Yeah, they've got a meet here in town. They made nationals, both their teams, so I'll be able to see them." She said and I smiled.

"Meet? Are they athletes?"

"Swimmers." She said and sighed.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to get into a fight with my mom."

"It's okay." Hinata said then she reached over, ruffling his hair.

"Hey, kid, how high can you jump?" She asked and he shrugged, none of us really measured it.

"I dunno." He said and she laughed, sitting up and groaning.

"Man, I can't wait until I can see them." She said and stretched, popping her back.

"No! Don't do that!" Nishinoya cringed and we all laughed, the mood instantly lightening.

"Tobio! That's my candy!" I cried, reaching for it as he laughed.

"No way, you left it!"

"Tobio!" I jumped over his friends, making them shriek in shock, then tackled him and grabbed my candy.

"Hey!" He laughed but I went back to my seat, leaning against Tanaka as I ate my sour patch kids.

"Mine." I smirked and my brother smiled as he watched me and his team watched the movie.

"Where'd you live before here?" Kinoshita asked and I looked at him.

"Little town called Iwatobi, it's a cool place. My dad was a teacher there but when he saw I wasn't happy, he sent me back here with my brother. I dunno, we fight but I'll always be there for his dumbass." I said and my brother went red, making everyone laugh.

"Boys." Mom came in then saw me and sighed.

"Well, lights out soon. And Hana, go back to your room. Stop intrud-"

"We invited her in, mom." Tobio said and mom looked shocked for a moment then nodded.

"Alright, if you say so." She said and left, missing me throwing her back the finger.

"Hana, be nice." Tanaka laughed then I laid my head back, looking at him and grinning.

"Make me." He laughed then shook his head as I kept eating. When the movie finished, I stood and went to the door.

"See ya in the morning, boys." They waved to me then I went to my room, laying down and quickly falling asleep.
