I walked downstairs and my mom smiled as Tobio eyed me. He came over then grabbed my hair tie, pulling my hair back into a ponytail. I smiled as he stepped in front of me then gave me the approving nod.
"Done." He said, a knock sounding a split second later.
"And just in time." Mom said then stood to open the door as I grabbed my jean jacket and slid my shoes on.
"Tanaka, she's right here." She said then I stepped in the doorway and saw Tanaka in some dark jeans, a manga shirt, and his own VANs.
"Hey, Hana." He smiled then I waved to my mom and brother as I left with Tanaka.
"So, where are we going?" I asked and he rubbed his head.
"Uh, it's lame, but the movies?" He laughed and I smiled.
"It's only lame if I wasn't with you." I said then he grinned, slowly grabbing my hand and leading me to the movies.
"So, which one do you want to see?" He asked and I rocked back and forth, eyeing the movies.
"Dunno, I'm not a big movie person." I said then he laughed.
"Alright, I'll choose." He said and I grinned as we got to the window.
"Hi, how many?"
"Two please." He said and picked the new action movie that had come out, I half paid attention. We went inside and got some popcorn then went to the theater, sitting in the middle.
"Hana?" I looked at him then he leaned over, softly kissing me. I grabbed his cheek then he slowly pulled back, laying his head on mine.
"Broken or put together, strong or weak, I'm always gonna love you. It doesn't matter to me what state you're in, you're always gonna be Kageyama's older sister who kicks our asses when we need it. What's never going to change is how I feel about you, I'm hoping you also won't change." He said then I smiled, softly kissing his nose.
"You're always gonna be my lug head wing spiker who would do anything for his team, even kick some asses and knock heads together." He laughed then I softly kissed him.
"But don't worry, I'll always care about you too." He grinned then I laid my head on his shoulder, watching the movie with him. After, we went to the gym and I saw his team already inside, a couple of other teams there as well.
"A day training session." Asahi said while Tanaka ran off to change.
"Day, huh?" He nodded then grinned.
"Kageyama says you and Tanaka went to see a movie earlier." Nishinoya butted in and I nodded, looking up as Tanaka came in.
"And your birthday is today, right?" Hinata asked and I looked at him, shrugging.
"I don't really celebrate it, but ye- Ah!" I screamed, laughing as a familiar deep laugh filled me.
"Aomine!" I laughed as he let me go, letting me turn to see all my friends, basketball idiots and swimmers alike. Even my ice skater friends were here.
"What the hell are you guys-" I stopped as I was turned by Kagami and Momo then stared at Tanaka as he scratched his head, his cheeks red.
"Uh, Kagami gave me this a while ago, but I was kinda nervous about giving it to you." He said, handing me a necklace with a key.

"I'm not a feelings, lovey-dovey kinda guy, I never was. I'm the kind of guy who's gonna fight and argue first, ask questions later, but you make me want to do it the other way. I guess what I'm saying is that you're different, Hana. You make me want to be different, and your friends, however big and scary they are or small and evil, they're your family. I was kinda hoping, maybe, I could be apart of that family someday. So uh, happy birthday, Hana." He finished and I laughed, hugging his neck tightly.
"You idiot." I whispered, his arms hugging me tightly, then I lifted my head from his neck.
"You're already my family, Ryu." I whispered and he smiled as all the athletes here celebrated my birthday, then they gathered again three years later at the wedding where I became Hana Tanaka.
