Twelve

I jumped as my bed moved, turning and seeing Tanaka sitting on the edge.

"Hey, Hana. Its time for breakfast, come on." He said and helped me stand, walking me downstairs.

"Tanaka!" I said, pulling his arm, then he looked at me.

"Tr-try again." I whispered and his brow furrowed before he smiled.

"He's in the kitchen, okay?" I nodded then we went into the kitchen, Hinata in there with my brother and our friends either there or eating at the table.

"Hinata, can she try again?" Tanaka asked and Hinata set his plate down, nodding.

"Yeah!" He smiled then slowly stepped closer.

"E-enough!" I yelled, making Hinata stop, then he nodded.

"Okay, Hana. Then you can make the next move. Like a game! You like games, don't you?" I nodded then he smiled.

"Okay, I've made my move. Your turn to move." He said then I let Tanaka go, slowly inching forward.

"Hinata-"

"Shush, Aii." A voice said then I shakily reached for Hinata, feeling his soft red hair. I stepped closer, touching his scalp, then kept going until I was in front of him.

"My turn, right?" He asked and I nodded, softly running my fingers over his hair.

"Okay, I'm gonna move." He said then I felt his arms hug me and whined.

"Hinata, let go-"

"No." I whispered, making them stop. I shook my head then hugged Hinata.

"No, don't let go." I breathed, laying my head on his.

"She's... She's hugging him."

"Hinata-"

"Not too loud." I hugged Hinata then looked at him, smiling softly.

"You're my favorite first year." I whispered and he grinned, hugging me tighter.

"Hana." He laughed then I laid my nose in his hair, not smelling him but comforting myself.

"Hana?" I looked at Nagisa then let Hinata go, hugging him.

"I'm sorry-"

"You're hurt, don't be sorry." He said as he hugged me then I looked at my brother.

"Tobio." I whispered and went to him, hugging his neck as he held me tightly.

"I missed you, Hana."

"I wished I hadn't left." I whispered into his neck then he held me tighter.

"Nothing we can do about the past, just from here on out." I nodded then mom came down, all of us looking at her.

"Hana, Tobio, I just got off the phone with your cousin. He um, well, your uncle is in the hospital. He pulled his back really badly, they want you there." I nodded then looked at our friends.

"Tanaka, please?" I whispered and he nodded.

"I'll ask my sister, I doubt she'll say no." I nodded then looked at mom.

"Of course, honey. You guys are leaving on Saturday, is that alright?"

"What about you?" Tobio asked then she sighed.

"You know how I am around my brother, Tobio. I can't go, I'm sorry." We nodded then she left for work, all of us sitting and eating.

"The other teams are worried about you." Daichi said then I looked at him.

"Call them to the gym, I wanna see them before we go to my uncle's." He nodded and smiled at me, everyone smiling at me as we ate and I actually laughed.

"Careful, like an animal that could kill." Tanaka said as I slowly walked towards Kuroo.

"Hana, he won't hurt you." Tobio said then I eyed Kuroo's hands, which were up so I could see them.

"Hey, Hana." He whispered then I reached out, touching his chest.

"Hinata said this is a game, right? I made a move, you make your move, then my turn?" I nodded then looked at him.

"Yo-your..."

"Kuroo, it's your move now." Tanaka said then Kuroo slowly wrapped his arms around me, hugging me. I smiled at the familiarity of it then slid my arms around him, hugging him and feeling him relax.

"We were scared, Hana." He whispered and I tensed as he kissed my head.

"Kuroo, don't!" A voice yelled but I shoved him away, knocking myself back and hitting the ground.

"Hana!" Tanaka ran to me then grabbed me, hugging me as I violently shook.

"Shh, you're safe. You're okay, we're right here. Don't worry, he won't hurt you." He whispered in my ear then Kuroo looked shocked.

"She's only okay with hugs, Kuroo."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know." He said then I turned into Tanaka, hugging his neck tightly as I calmed down.
