4 years later

My sleep was disturbed when i heard my phone ringing.I checked the caller ID and groaned when i saw Theo's name showing up.

"What Theo ..why are you calling me so early in the morning."

"Dude what early its 7:45 get your sleepy butt up and bath and dress Talia and you in nice clothes .Jaylen and I are coming to pick you up.We going to celebrate.

"Celebrate what Theo it aint even  anyone's birthday...wait is it your birthday"

"Hahaha really funny Aydie you of all people will never forget my birthday...its for you silly"

"Wait what ...what do you mean for me"

"Aarrg i knew you wouldnt be able to keep track of your results because you always thought you'd fail.I tracked your results online sweety and you my dear are going to an addddvooocaatteee..."she screamed on the other side and i started screaming as i dropped my phone down.OMG  i had passed my exams ..oh thank you God.

Suddenly i was hit by a pillow.."Really Mom would you lower your voice down im trying to sleep here".My baby girl complained...she had turned out to be this warm soul and had a very nice sense of humour that always lifted up everyone's spirits...and she was highly opinionated she never minded to say her opinion to anyone.

"Talia sweety go take a bath we going out with aunty Theo and uncle Jay" i said already waking up.

"Why where are we going ".She really didnt want anyone disturbing  her sleep.

"Well honey because your mom here is going to be a lawyer"i said smiling.

"Whoaaa coool Mom...im so happy for us",she ran and hugged me.

We were done preparing and i had told Talia to go eat some cornflakes while i was making final touches on my make up.

"Mooomm there is someone at the door".

"Who is it "i shouted back.

"How should i know ..im four".Talia was beginning to have Theo's nasty attitude .

I walked into the room and saw the shock of my life .He was standing there as he looked at me and then at Talia who was clearly beginning to sense the tension that was forming.He  was wearing a nice expensive suit ..and the scent of his aftershave immediately filled the room.He was smiling as if it was so normal for him to be standing  there.Cedric.Cedric was standing at the door of my apartment .After 4 years amd here he was....i just couldnt believe what i was seeing,.
