Leafcutter ☝️

Dear Princess Honeydew,
I hope you make it home safely. I hope you get this. And write back. To prove you're alive. Totally not writing this so you can write back so I can take the letter and keep it forever. That would be awkward. Because I'm totally not in love with you. But if you're in love with me I'd except a date. Only if you're okay with it.
"Uhhhh I'm totally in love with her." I groaned.
"Do you want me to write that?" Leaf asked.
"No no no. No. Don't put that anywhere near that letter." I said in embarrassment.
"Well it's okay to have a crush silly. I have one."
I sighed.
"Of course you do. Who don't you have a crush on."
"You. Unless you magically start liking me in the next hour. You're a taken man. I wouldn't want to get in the way of this sad excuse of romance."
I just blinked at her.
"Hey! It's not a sad excuse. She's cute." I mumbled.
"That's going in the letter."
Also you're very cute. In a good way.
"Nooo. Leafcutter." I growled, "if I could move I'd totally slice you in half."
"Why don't you use that magical plant growing power." Leaf said sarcastically.
"Hey it's real. I almost saved Honey with it."
"Princess Honeydew is on Pyrrhia. You saved your own butt."
"Leaf you don't get it. Mantis probably tried to get away. Did anyone see his body?" I asked.
"Yes. It was hanging from the ceiling. Everyone saw it."
I nodded.
"Is this all you want?" She asked.
I nodded again.
Sincerely Evergreen and Leafcutter(who wrote for him)
Leafcutter left the room and went to mail the letter.  The Hivewing nurse came in again and I got a closer look at her face.  Red Ruby's were inlaid into her scales.  Her colorful pink Hivewing Silkwing wings.  Her brown patches.
"Sunspot." I hissed.
She looked at me.
"Oh you're awake.  I thought you died already." She hissed.
"You're up to no good." I growled.
She nodded.
"And when I'm done.  Not even you can save her this time."
"You didn't."
She smirked.
"QUEEN APHID!  HELPP!" I screeched before I felt talons over my snout and another needle.  I struggled making Sunspot drop the needle.  I pride myself out of her grip and started to run.
"QUEEN APHID!" I started to yell again.
To my surprise Queen Aphid showed up.
"Queen Aphid.  Sunspots trying to poison me." I gasped.
Sunspot came out acting innocent and pure.
"Why would she do that?"
"Because she wants to be queen of all the tribes.  And she's the one who sent Honey to Pyrrhia.  And she sent an assassin after her.  And she's trying to take out all the heirs that are in her way including me and Honeydew and Queen Rarity's egg. Please listen." I begged.
She sighed.
"Listen.  It's probably just the anesthesia.  Maybe you should lay down."
"No.  Not until if my honey-drop is okay." I hissed.
I felt some tears rolling down my cheek as I started to fly away.
My wounds felt like they would open again but I didn't care.  I just wanted Honeydew.  I saw Leaf giving the mail boat my letter.
"Leaf I'll be back later.  Don't let Sunspot lure you.  She's planning a complete take over.  Tell my mother I'll be back.  Oh and tell her Sunspot is planning something big.  Like a complete take over.  I'll be cal with Honeydew as soon as I can." I yelled before flying after the boat.
I needed to warn Honeydew.  I needed to find her and keep her safe.  From anyone.  Whatever it takes to keep her safe because I love her.
