Dear Princess Honeydew (completed)

Evergreen

We all woke up in the morning to find the boat docked.
Scallop was talking to dragons outside so I went outside to.
"Mother!" I yelled.
I ran over and hugged her. She smiled and hugged me back. I then saw Aphid and Rarity.
"Hi." I said.
They waved to me.
"Honeydew!" I yelled.
She yawned and walked up.
"What?" She asked.
She looked over to me and saw her mother.
"Honeydew!" She yelled.
"Mother!" Honey said running over to her mother.
"Honeydew." Aphid said snuggling next to her daughter.
"I knew she was alive." Mother said putting her wing around me.
"What's all the yelling about." Camo said coming out of the ship.
"Oh Camomile.  This is Queen Maple my mother.  Queen Aphid Honeydew's mother and Queen Rarity and her egg." He nodded as I said that.
"Well it's a pleasure." He said bowing.
Next was Nova and Fastfuture.
"Mother.  This is Nova and Fastfuture.  Fastfuture this is my mother.  Nova this is my mother." She said.
"She's so cute." I said out loud.
My mother coughed a bit to remind her she was standing right there. 
"It's cute you have a crush.  But we have bigger issues. Sunspot has overthrown us.  Athens burned her face and I used sundews to stop them but I don't think that was enough.  Son we need you and your friends to help." Mother said.
I nodded.
"Toxic.  Galaxy.  Come on.  We have to stop Honeydew's cousin from taking over the world." I yelled.
They both frowned and walked out. 
"I was talking to someone." Galaxy growled.
"And I was napping.  Mother never lets me sleep.  It's always train until you pass out."
"Yeah yeah sleep after we kill Sunspot."
"No.  She's not queen until she has this." Aphid said holding up a ring.  It had a spider shaped jewel inlaid in it.  It was a black spider.  And when Honeydew becomes queen she'll get one with an aphid on it.  And when her daughter or granddaughter becomes queen she'll get one that has a Honeydew on it.
I looked around everyone was out of the boat except Nightshade.  Even nerdy Fastfuture was flirting with Athens who was blushing a bit. 
"Night-." I started before Galaxy clamped my snout shut.
But it was to late.  Aphid looked up.
"Nightshade." She said.
Aphid looked at Honeydew and hesitated.
"Mother.  I know." Honeydew said.
Aphid looked at her claws.
"He didn't do those things Shadowwalker said.  He actually liked you mother." She said.
Nightshade walked out of the ship and over to Aphid.
"It's been awhile." He said.
Aphid nodded.
"He looks just like you." She said smiling softly at Fastfuture. 
"She looks like you." Nightshade said.
"Fastfuture.  Nova." He said.
They both turned away from what they were doing to there father.
"These are my children.  Nova and Fastfuture." Nightshade said.
Aphid smiled at them both.
"Hello.  I'm Honeydew's mother."
They both tipped their heads.
"And that's Galaxy." Nightshade said pointing to Galaxy.
"She's very lucky.  She's pretty too."
Fastfuture went right back over to Athens. 
Nightshade looked at his son.
Aphid put a claw on Honeydew's father. 
"He's fine.  Athens is sweet and he's too cute to give up." She said.
Honeydew pushed up her glasses and looked at the sky. 
"Is it me or is there a bunch of Silkwings coming this way." She said.
I looked up and saw the butterfly wings of the Silkwing and the yellow and pink of Sunspot.
She landed and so did the Silkwings.
"Silkwings! What are you doing!" Rarity yelled.
They didn't even look at her.
"What did you do to them!" I yelled.
"Nothing they just joined me." Sunspot said.
I saw the red and green of Leafcutter and Leafwings flying in.
"Leafcutter!" I yelled.
She looked at me and flew down.
"This is all I could get here.  The rest are getting ready." She said.
She looked around.
"A pretty lame army if I've ever seen one.  But you have Honeydew.  Are you gonna tell her." She said grabbing my front claws and bouncing up and down.
"Leaf.  I don't want Honeydew to hate me.  She didn't seem interested when she read the letter." I said picking at the ground.
Leaf walked over to Honeydew.
"Honeydew.  Evergreen loves you." She said without any emotion at all.
We all looked at her.  Then when they realized what she said they all diverted their attention to me.
"No I don't!" I yelled.
Honeydew looked down at her claws.
"No I didn't.  I like you but I don't love you.  I mean that's no-."
"Stop it." She said softly.
"Honeydew.  I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.  I do like you."
"What did I say!" She yelled.  I saw venom dripping out of her teeth.  She turned her attention away from me back to Sunspot.
"What you're not boyfriend and girlfriend anymore.  That's a shame.  Now if one of you dies you won't be as hurt." Sunspot said smiling.
"You know what.  How about I kill you both.  You're both a threat.  Unless." Her eyes landed on me. I felt her bright yellow eyes burn into my heart.
"No I'm in love with Honeydew. You'd have to kill me because I'd never become a king of yours." I growled.
She growled and smiled.
"Fine."
And with that she yelled and the Silkwing went to attack the Leafwings and the small group of friends.
The war for Pantala had begun.
