"Where are the assassins I thought it would be easy killing a small brat." I growled.
"My lady if it makes sense Evergreen left a few days ago." Beetle said.
"What! Why didn't anyone stop him. He's going to get Honeydew." I growled.
"He doesn't know where she is."
I nodded.
"Athens!" I yelled.
He looked at me.
"I'm going to need 10 times the amount of flamesilk you're producing." I snarled.
"I'm sorry Sunspot. I can only produce so much." He said.
I slapped him and the cut started to bleed. I laughed a little.
I turned around and ready to walk away when I heard.
"Honeydew would never have done this." He whispered to himself.
I turned back around.
"Well I'm not Honeydew." I growled.
I picked him up and smashed him into the wall. He surprisingly survived. It's almost like the author wants him to live for some reason. 😏.
"Queen Aphid!" Shulker said.
I picked Athens up and put him in a chair.
"If you value your life then you better not say anything." I snapped.
He nodded very fast.
I smiled and looked as my aunt walked in.
"Have you guys seen Evergreen. His mother is all over looking for him after Leafcutter told her that he left for Pyrrhia." She asked.
"Nope. I think he said something about Nightshade though. I mean who would need nightshade." I laughed.
"Oh thank goodness. Nightshade. I need to write to him." She said running out.
I ran after her.
"What? Isn't it just a plant?"
"No. So much more sweets. I'll tell you when you're older." She said rubbing my cheek.
I shoved her claw away. "I want to know now!"
"Fine. He's Honeydew's father. A Nightwing that lives on Pyrrhia. He doesn't know that but it's best that way. The queen told me he had never been in love with me. He was just using me."
I looked at my aunt. She sighed.
"Oh. Is that why Honeydew looks like that?" I asked.
She nodded.
I looked back at the room I was holding Athens in.
Maybe I should be a little kinder to my future subjects.
