I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, nonstop.

"Hello." I said groggily, while rubbing my eyes. Fuck, my head is pounding.

"Alex, you have to come home. Callie's gone." Mariana exclaimed.

"Gone? What the hell does that mean?"

"Just come home. Moms are freaking out." She screamed, causing me to pull the phone away from my ear.

Ow, my head.

"Okay, Okay. I'm coming." I got up and quickly put my shoes on, accidentally knocking over a water bottle.

"Babe, where the fuck are you going?" Billie said, waking up from the commotion. She sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"Family emergency. I gotta go, okay?" I said, as I leaned over and pecked her on the lips.

"Lemme know if I can help. You'll text me later?" Billie asked, holding onto my hand.

"Duh." I smiled, almost forgetting about Callie.

I give her one last kiss and practically jog home.

"Mom! I'm home.." I said out loud as I opened the front door.

I was immediately crushed into a bear hug from my mama.

"What's going on? What happened to Callie?" I said, my voice filled with concern.

"She ran away. Please try texting her. Maybe she'll respond to you." Mama said sounding extremely stressed. I nodded.

"Where's mom?" I asked.

"She's out with Brandon looking for her. I'm gonna go make some more calls." She replied and patted my shoulder.

I quickly took a pain killer and ran to my room.

I practically spammed Callie's phone with calls and texts, but she didn't reply.

Maybe I should check when she last posted on Instagram. She's always on there.

I clicked on the app.

The first thing that popped up was a picture that Tana posted. It looked like it was taken at Dani's party last night.

I examined the picture closely and gasped.

It was Tana kissing....Billie.

Tears formed in my eyes before I could comprehend what I just saw. 

"Alex!" Someone yelled from downstairs.

I quickly squeezed my eyes shut, trying to get rid of the tears and ran downstairs.

We all sat in the dining table, waiting for one of our moms to call and update us.

Last we heard, Wyatt called in a motel, just a town over saying he was with Callie.

My leg was restless and fidgeting, around a billion thoughts were racing through my head.

First Callie, now Billie. It was too much

"Alex, you take your ADHD pills today?" Jesus asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Uh, yeah." I nodded, but he looked at me like I literally fed him bullshit.

"I get a lil fidgety when I'm stressed." I explained, while running a hand through my hair as the picture of Tana and Billie kissing appeared in my head.

He nodded in response as the phone rang.  Brandon quickly grabbed it and pressed it to his ear.

"Mama?" He exclaimed, worriedly.

"Oh. Thank god." He let out a sigh of relief, causing Mariana, Jesus, Jude and I to give him questioning looks.

He held out his finger, signaling us to wait.

"Okay. I-okay, bye." He nodded and hung up the phone.

"Well?!" Mariana asked curiously.

"They got her. She's coming home." Brandon said as he let out another sigh of relief.

"Wait, so what happened? Where was she going?" Mariana pressed.

"Uh, she wanted to run away and live with Wyatt. But he called moms because apparently he wanted what's best for her." He explained.

"Wait, Wyatt!?" I said in shock.

"Yeah, they've been dating for like 5 months." Mariana said in a 'duh' tone.

"No, Uh I know. I just thought they would've broken up after..." I stopped talking realizing everyone could here me.

They all gave me confusing looks.

"Well? You can't just leave us on a cliffhanger." Jude pressed.

"Seriously. What the heck happened?" Mariana exclaimed, sounding extremely interested.

I sighed, they're not gonna let it go until I tell them.

"Wyatt. He-um...he kissed me." I said looking down.

"Wait, What?!" Mariana gasped as everyone looked at me with wide eyes.

"Yeah, and I told her and she said she believed me, but then Wyatt came up to me and got all up in my face saying I was lying. Which was weird as fuck.." I stopped talking when I realized I've been rambling on and on.

I looked up at my foster siblings who still looked at me in shock.

"Dang really? Does Callie believe you?" Jesus questioned.

I shrugged in honesty. My phone vibrated and a notification popped up.

hey b, everything okay at home?

I read the text and my whole body stiffened. She really has the nerve to pretend like that kiss never happened.

I turned off my phone, trying not to over think about it, since I had a bad habit of doing so.

Mariana noticed and gave me a look.

"Why're you ignoring Billie? Aren't you guys like BFFs?" She asked. I internally cringed as she said BFFs, but had no idea what to say.

"Uh yeah. I'm not really talking to her right now." I choked up a little.

"Ooooh, more gossip? Spill." She said with a mischievous grin.

I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

"Uh, I'll pass."
