Today's the day I've been dreading the most, aka Monday. That means I can't just  ignore Billie's messages and calls.

I'm gonna have to face her.

I've been ignoring her all weekend. She really hurt me. Not only did she kiss someone else, but she also lied to me.

But a part of me also feels like I literally have no reason to be mad. It's not like we're together, right?

I sighed as I started getting dressed for school.

I put on a Giants t-shirt and some boyfriend jeans. I paired it off with some vans and applied mascara.

I grab my backpack and make my way downstairs.

I walked to the kitchen and poured myself some coffee in my to-go cup. While screwing the top on, someone knocked on the front door.

My mom opened the door to see Ethan standing there.

"Hi Ethan. Come on in." My mama said as he greeted her.

He was giving me a ride to school today.

"What's up, Alex?" Ethan said giving me a hug. I gave him a small smile which made him furrow his brows.

"You good?" He asked in a lower voice, while pulling away from the hug.

"Oh yeah, yeah. Just tired." I said giving him a bigger smile. He nodded.

"We should go, though." He said looking at the clock.

"Yeah. Bye moms!" I said loudly as I walked out of the house behind Ethan.

I got down from Ethan's Jeep and looked around, hoping not to see her.

"Hey! Alex!"

I couldn't help but jump as someone tapped my shoulder.

"Damn. I didn't mean to scare you. Why're you so tense?" Ruby chuckled.

"Nah, it's nothing. Just a lot on my mind, yknow?" I replied, looking down.

"You wanna talk about it?" Ruby asked, putting her hand on my shoulder in concern.

"You're the one that should be talking. What the hell happened with you and Eli?" I said, quickly dodging the question.

"Oh right, I forgot. I never told you. Turns out he's been cheating on me for months, and you won't believe with who. He-Billie." She stuttered.

"What?" I choked.

"Look. It's Billie." She pointed behind me as she waved her over.

"Shit." I muttered under my breathe.
