Harry POV
Today is the day of grandma's funeral. I'm in Louis' bedroom getting ready. Louis is in the shower when I put on the pants of my suit. Just when I close the first few buttons of my shirt, he walks in the bedroom with a towel wrapped around his waist.
"Hey, are you okay?", I ask him worriedly since his face looks teary and red.
He shrugs, "As far as I can be okay, I guess."
I walk towards him and rest my arms on his shoulders before pressing a kiss on his forehead and pulling him in my arms, holding him close.
"It will be okay", I whisper as I stroke his back. I hear him sniffle and I pull him even closer to me, "Shh, don't cry."
Someone knocks on the door and I see Lottie walking in, immediately closing her eyes when she sees her brother wearing just a towel around his waist.
"We have to leave in 15 minutes", she announces.
"We'll be ready in 10", I say. She nods and walks out of the room.
I close the last buttons of my shirt and put my shoes on before grabbing my tie.
I neatly put it on and then I see Louis struggling with his tie. "You need help?". He nods and I walk towards him, helping him to put it on correctly.
"There you go", I boop his nose and he softly chuckles.
We both put on our jackets and link our hands when we walk downstairs. Everyone is already waiting for us.
A few minutes later, we all leave the house to drive to church, where the ceremony will be held. There are too many people to fit in one car so Jay, Phoebe and Daisy go in one car, while Louis and I take Lottie and Fizzy in my car.
After driving in silence for a while, we arrive at the church. Everyone gets out of the car and hugs each other.
His entire family ignores us, not accepting us. Louis and I chat a bit before getting in the church.
We sit down on the second row and a few minutes later the priest walks in and he begins to talk about life and death.
"I heard some people were going to say something?", the priest asks and a few people raise their hands, including Louis.
After some of his family members and family friends said something, it's Louis' turn.
He walks to the front and faces the people. I can see he's nervous, I can see the tears prickling his eyes from my seat and I reassuringly smile at him.
"Grandma, I know you can hear and see me now. I want you to know that you're an amazing woman. You are the kindest, sweetest and most loving lady I've ever known. I admire you so much, grandma. I pray to be just like you when I grow old. I want to be as kind, loving, supporting and caring as you have always been.
"I want to thank you for everything. Thank you for being here for me, for loving and supporting me unconditionally, when others didn't. Thank you for believing in me and helping me through everything. You always told me that you loved me and that you were proud of me."
He takes a tissue from his pocket and wipes his tears away. In that moment I just want to walk up to him and hold him close to me. Silently, I promise to never let him go.
"I love you, grandma, I always will. You were a great woman and you'll always be remembered as a woman who loved everyone. Thank you for everything you've done for me. You mean a lot to me and I'll never forget you. So much love".
Everyone is silent as Louis returns to his seat and sits down next to me.
"That was beautiful, Lou. Are you okay?", I tell him honestly and he hesitantly nods. I wrap an arm around him from the side and kiss his hair as he silently cries.
