Harry POV
Three weeks have passed and I get more nervous every passing moment. Louis continues to notice that something is off but he doesn't bring it up. I'm glad he doesn't bring it up because I know I wouldn't be able to hide it. I hate lying to Louis and I hate keeping things from him.
On our anniversary Louis wakes me up with a nice breakfast. It smells great and it looks delicious but I can't get more than 3 bites down. I feel so nauseated from the nerves that I think I'm going to puke.
"Are you okay, love?", he asks me and I shrug, trying to take a few deep breaths.
"I'm not feeling too well. I'll get better."
He kisses my forehead and lays down next to me, cuddling me. "Get some more rest, you'll feel better. It's still early."
I nod and close my eyes but I can't fall asleep. I'm way too nervous to do anything. I know what's going to happen tonight, but Louis doesn't. Louis has no clue as to what I'm gonna do tonight. I wonder what his reaction will be. Will he be happy? Will he be surprised? Will he cry? Will he say yes?
I can't wait to find out. I can't wait to propose to Louis, I am so sure I want this. I've been planning this for months now and I'm ready. I'm ready to propose. I'm ready to get married to him. I'm ready to have children with him and spend forever with him.
I end up falling asleep after all with the proposal on my mind and when I wake up Louis is staring at me.
He cups my cheek, "Hey, feeling better?"
"Four years, babe", he smiles at me as I nod and I smile widely back at him.
"Yeah, four years huh", I lean in and press my lips against his.
"I love you", he whispers.
"I love you too."
Later that day I call Niall to pick up Louis with an excuse so I can start with the preparations for tonight.
When Niall arrives to pick him up he complains, saying he wants to spend the day with me. I convince him to go with Niall and after a few kisses he agrees and they leave. Niall promises to drop him back off at 6pm so I have more than enough time to prepare for tonight.
I start cooking dinner and set the table with candles and some red roses. I also throw some rose petals on the floor.
After I finish making the dinner I quickly take a shower and put on a nice suit in a dark, shade of green. I style my hair and I feel the nerves kick in once again. I take a deep breath before walking back to the kitchen where I put the food on plates. I place the food on the table and put a bottle of champagne on the table.
Then I take the stock of candles I bought over the weeks from my closet and place all the candles all around the apartment.
I hope Louis will like it. I really hope so.
Just as I light the last candle I hear the door opening so I hurry to the door. "Hi, Louis", I sound very nervous.
"Hi", he smiles at me, looking a bit confused at my shaking voice.
I take his hand in mine and lead him to the living room.
"Haz", he whispers as he sees the living room with all the rose petals and candles.
"Do you like it?", I nervously ask him. He wraps his arms around my shoulders and then kisses me. "I love it, it's beautiful."
"Did you do all of this?"
I see tears in his eyes as I nod. "Oh my sweet Hazza", he mumbles against my chest as he hugs me tightly again.
I then take him to the dining table where the dinner is set out for the two of us. "Let's eat", I say. Louis sits down and I sit down on the other side of the table. I pour us both a glass of champagne and lift it in the air.
