Harry POV

"Lou, can you help me?", I ask as I try to get out of the bed.

In the past week I've been learning to walk again. I can now walk a few steps on without falling. I'm supposed to practice every day so that's what I'm doing right now. Walking is going okay but getting out of the bed is hard, I need Louis' help with that.

"Yes of course", he walks towards me and wraps an arm around my middle, I wrap my arm around his shoulder and with his other hand he holds my hand.

"Walk around the hallway? I'll hold you", he asks. I hesitate but then nod.

Slowly but surely we walk out of the room, into the hallway. A few doctors smile at the sight of us slowly walking and a few are too busy.

We walk for a few moments. "Are you okay?", he asks.

I nod, "Yeah, is good. Let's keep walking."

"Are you sure? You've already walked more than before", he stops walking and looks at me.

"Yeah. I'm good, I want to walk around some more", I convince him and we walk further.

We end up sitting in the cafeteria, drinking hot chocolate and eating ice cream.

"Mini hospital date", I chuckle and he scoots closer to me and wraps his arms around my waist, burying his head in my shoulder.

"I missed this", he whispers. "Me too, Lou", I hold him close as I take a sip of my hot chocolate.

"I'm so grateful that you're here right now, Haz. I don't know what I would've done if you wouldn't have opened your eyes", his voice breaks and I pull him closer.

"It's over now, love. I'm here and there's nothing to worry about", I plant a kiss on his head as he holds on to my body.

"Thank you", he whispers. "For what, love?", I ask him confusedly. "For everything."

"I don't know what you're talking about but you're welcome, love", I plant another kiss on his head.

We eat our ice cream and drink our hot chocolate before walking back to the room. Slowly we walk down the hallway and when we arrive we see the doctor looking around confused.

"Oh, there you guys are. Where were you?", he asks when he notices us walking in the room, Louis' arm around my waist for support.

I sit down on the bed. "We were walking around. We drank some hot chocolate in the cafeteria and then walked back."

His eyes open widely, "You walked all the way to the cafeteria and back without any help?"

"I mean, Louis helped me but other than that, no", I say. He nods and writes something down on the notepad he was holding.

"I've got some great news for you. I just got all the results from the tests and scans, everything was perfect. We were planning on keeping you for a few more days to get better with walking but since you already went to the cafeteria and back, I think you're ready to leave the hospital tomorrow."

My jaw drops, "R-really?"

He nods, "I'm saying it once again, but your case is really a miracle. No one thought you'd wake up, let alone walk around a week later."

I smile at him, "Thanks doctor."

He nods and walks out of the room.

"Haz, you're going home tomorrow!", Louis exclaims excitedly. I grin, "Yes I am."

"That's great news, angel", he smiles widely. "Yeah. It's great", I smile back at him.

"Good morning, angel", is what I hear when I wake up.
