*Remi's POV
I wake up to the door slam open, I'm so drained and tired, I have zero memory of last night. What happened last night? Why am I in Kiana's moms room? My head is pounding and I just want to throw up.
"Remi." Kiana says with Nate standing next to her.
"Yeah?" I say back quietly, I'm too tired and sick to talk too loud.
"Get the fuck out of my house." Kiana yells at me, what's going on?
"What? Why?" I say as I sit up in confusion.
"What do you mean why? Just take your things and get out!" She replies.
I get up and don't say anything, I'm not in the mood to tell or argue or even question why I'm getting kicked out of my bestfriends house, ill leave it for tomorrow at school. I walk out of kianas moms room and down the hall, the house is trashed, bottles, cups, cigarette butts, and people sleeping cover the hallway. Kiana follows me into her room so I can grab my things.
"Do you need any help cleaning up?" I ask her, hoping it will be a no, I'm way too drained to clean right now.
"No, just gather your things Remi." Kiana says in a blunt tone, I can tell she is really pissed off at me for some reason.
I take my bag and walk to the front door, Nate is waiting there with the door open ready for me to leave.
"Thanks." I say to Nate and go to hug him but he steps back, what's going on? I shrug it off and step out the door.
"Thanks for having me Kiana, love you." I say and Kiana slams the door in my face as I finish my sentence.
I decide to go grab something for lunch before I go home, I see a nice little café called "Sugar Buns" and I walk in and go up to the counter.
"Do you know what you would like to order?" A red haired boy behind the counter says to me.
"No not yet." I say and smile. I scan the menu for something light to eat, the thought of a heavy meal sounds sickening right now. "Could I please get a salad sandwich thanks."
"That will be $4.50 thanks." The red haired boy says and I hand him the correct money and move to the side to wait for my food.
"Rough night?" He asks me.
"Very rough night, my friend hand a party last night." I smile and say back.
"I was at a party last night too, was it Kiana's?"
"Yeah it was actually."
"Actually I think I remember you," he smiles "I think we were in the same rotation." Memories flood back to last night, he was the cute red head that passed me the mix bowl.
"Oh I remember you!" I say excited.
"I was hoping to kiss you, but you walked off with Nate." He says and I blush.
"I have almost no memories from last night, sorry, I don't even remember seeing Nate. But I wouldn't have minded if you did." I reply and smile.
"Here's your order." He says and hands me my sandwich, "can I have your number? Maybe we could catch up for lunch or something?"
"I'd like that." I reply and take his phone and put in my number. "Hopefully we can continue from last night." I smile and walk out of the café. He's cute, really cute, I hope he texts me.
