Remi's Mom's POV
I decided to leave Remi in peace, I can't believe she has started cutting herself again, I feel it's my fault, have I not been paying enough attention to her? Am I spending too much time at work? Ill talk to her through dinner, which is just about ready.
"Remi, it's time for dinner." I call out, like every other night. No response. She'll be out soon. I put my dinner on the table along with Remi's and I sit down. She's taking long than usually, she probably just didn't hear me. I walk up to her room and knock on her door.
"Remi darling it's time for dinner." Again without a response, I walk into her room and don't see her anywhere. She better not have snuck out, other whys she'll have hell to pay. She might be in the shower, but I can't hear the water running. I knock on the bathroom door.
"Remi, are you in here?" I ask, with no reply. I walk in and fall to my knees. My beautiful daughter is laying on the floor, blood everywhere. I scream, my stomach turns and tears are streaming down my face. I crawl over to my daughters lifeless body, she has cuts all over her, I've never seen that many cuts let alone that much blood. I look up on the sink, a note;
'Mom I love you and I'm so sorry that I had to do this, it's not your fault, please don't be overly sad, I'm no great loss, please keep living your life as if nothing happened. We were all born to die, some just die quicker than others -Remi.'I grab my phone out of my pocket and call 000.
"Police, fire or ambulance?" A lady calmly says.
"Ambulance! Hurry please!" I say barely able to breath.
"I'm transferring you now ma'am." She says and I am put on hold for what feels like forever but finally someone picks up.
"What's the emergency?" A man asks.
"My daughter. She tried to commit suicide. She's in the bathroom and she has cuts everywhere, she's unconscious." I reply, obviously stressed out and worried.
"Can I get your address? An ambulance will be there in about 10-15 minutes depending on how far you live from the hospital." He says calmly.
"14 Batterlyn Court." I say and he hangs up.
I sit next to Remi and hold her. I can't help but scream and cry. There's a knock at the door.
"In the bathroom!" I yell as loud as I can and 2 medics rush in and put my daughter on a bed and take her into the ambulance. I hop in the back with her and hold her hand and cry all the way to the hospital.
