Classes the next day went relatively quickly. With the upcoming fight between your team and team CRDL, you pushed out any room for other thoughts. Choosing to focus more on how you were going to beat the enemy team. You were positive you and your team were going to win, but if it was one thing Qrow taught you it was to never take any chances in a fight.

With that in mind, you decided to go over everything you knew about Cardin and his team. What you knew wasn't much. Aside from the time Cardin fought Jaune, you knew practically nothing about Cardin, and you knew even less about his teammates.

Although if what you heard people gossip about Cardin and his team where true, then you could comfortably say that the win was all but guaranteed. The rumor that you heard through eavesdropping on other peoples conversations was that team CRDL only passed the test was due to team RWBY and JNPR fighting off two massive grim. During the fight, CRDL had enough time to sneak their relics and make it back to the cliff in one piece.

When it came time for the battle class you and your team came into the classroom with your gear already on.

Walking in you noticed that there were four people sitting next to team JNPR and RWBY. These four happened to be team CFVY. Walking over to them Yatsuhashi quickly took note of your team getting closer. Getting up and walking towards your team to meet you halfway Yatsuhashi held out his fist with a small smile on his face. Putting your first against his in a fist bump you let a small smile grace your lips as well.

"I should probably thank you for standing up for Velvet yesterday." Said Yatsuhashi. you noticed that the rest of team CFVY had stood up and walked over to where you were.

"Don't thank us until our fight with Cardin and his goons are over." Said Griff.

"We heard about that. A lot of people were talking about it yesterday." Said Coco from besides Yatsuhasi. "You guys better not lose. I really want to see those guys in tutus." After saying that Coco along with the rest of her team started to chuckle slightly at the image of team CRDL in tuts for a day.

"While I would love to see that happen I'm not sure the teachers would allow that." Said Simmons.

"Don't worry about the teachers. I talked with Glynda and she said that as long as both teams agree to the terms that this would be acceptable." Said Coco with a large smirk on her face. " I was even able to get my team in here to watch the match happen."

"I was wondering why you guys were here. I've never seen your team before. Except for Velvet that is." Said Griff.

"Oh well, my Names Coco. The big guy with the equally big sword is Yatsuhashi. The other dude is Fox. And of course, you've already met Velvet." When each of their names being called team CFVY gave a slight nod of confirmation.

"Well I'm Griff, The guy in maroon is Simmons, and the blue is Caboose." Said Griff while pointing to his friends.

Before anything else could be said the bell rung letting everyone present know that it was time for class. Giving team CFVY a curt nod you and your team took a sit right where you were. 

"Alright class it's time for class to begin. Do I have any volunteers?" Said Glynda as she strode out onto the arena.

"Team (t/n) would like to challenge team CRDL to a duel!" You declared while standing up. 

"Ah yes I heard about this earlier. While I'm aware of the wager that you and team CRDL have made I must warn you that as soon as you step into the ring both your team and team CRDL agree to the terms from yesterday." Said Glynda while getting ready to set up the screens that would show each team and each members aura level to the audience. "With that being said team CRDL do you accept the challenge from team (t/n)?"
