I sighed as Yuki struggled to fold the paper properly.
"Yuki. You just, you folded it the wrong way." I sighed.
Yuki frowned and completely unfolded the paper to try again.
It had been four days, and while I felt fine, he wouldnt let me do anything except get up to use the bathroom.
"Do you need another milkshake?" He asked. He never left the house unless I wanted something from a store, in which case he was never gone longer than absolutely necessary.
"No, this one isn't empty." I assured him.
"You still don't remember what happened?" He asked softly. He asked every day.
On the second day I had fully remembered. But I hadn't told him.
"Bits and pieces." Not a lie, fully.
"If you need anything just let me know alright?"
I rolled my eyes, although I knew he was just doing it because he was worried.
"Yes sir your majesty sir!"
Although Ayame had returned home, Yuki still slept in my room. I didn't argue because I knew it relaxed him. Also because it was nice.
"Don't call me that." He sighed.
"Knock knock!"
We looked up to see Shigurae at the door. He looked incredibly pleased with himself as he handed me a bouquet of flowers. It was really very pretty, but it didn't have orchids or calla lilies.
"Thank you very much."
"Also I brought these!" He held up magazines.
"Shigurae!" Yuki snapped.
"Give." I snatched the magazines and quickly flipped through them before pouting.
"They don't have anything good in them." I complained.
"Uh...what were you looking for?" Yuki asked.
"Furniture! Decorative stuff. I like looking, plan what I want to buy some day." I smiled to myself.
"Yes well those magazines are simply full of boys! I thought you might want to see this year's swimsuits and nightwear!"
Yuki punched the back of his head.
"Owie! Mitsumi! Yuki is hurting me!" He whined.
"Serves you right. Next time only bring the flowers" I patronized.
"Yeah. Don't bring her stuff like that."
I didn't miss the glare he sent.
"Hey Shigurae! Do you want some food? We have some left over from lunch." I held up a tray of food.
"I would love that, unfortunately, I promised Torhu I would return to help her repair the house again."
"Kyo broke more stuff?" Yuki questioned.
I hummed slightly as I went back to folding paper.
I ignored the pair as I added the dragon to my now finished collection of zodiac animals.
I picked up a piece of blue paper and started folding a bird.
"Well, I must be going! Bye~!"
"Bye!" I cheered. Yuki simply waved.
"I'm glad hes gone." Yuki sighed. I laughed.
"You love him. Oh, Yuki. I know I'm not supposed to leave my bed..."
"And you won't."
"But...I would really like to see the stars tonight. Do you think it would be okay if we went on the roof? Just for a little bit?"
Yuki stared at the paper bird in my hand as he debated.
"I promise I won't hurt anything! It's perfectly safe! And I won't fall off the roof, nor will I argue when you want to cone back inside. And I-"
"Fine! We can go up to look at the stars." He relented.
"Really?"
"Yes."
I smiled brightly and clasped my hands together. "Thank you Yuki!"
"Yeah. But I want something in return."
"What?"
"I don't know yet."
"So... a favor?"
Yuki smirked, "yes, a favor."
"Okay."
Yuki blinked at my sudden compliance. "What, no arguing? No calling me a devious prince?"
"Nope!"
"Why not?" Yuki eyed ne warily.
I smiled as I folded a giraffe.
"Because I love you." I stated simply.
I felt Yuki freeze.
"I....I'm going to go get a glass of water."
I listened as Yuki quickly left the room. I also heard him stop outside my door and lean against the wall.
"Dork." I whispered.
