I laughed as Yuki and I walked into school.
"It's not my fault, you should've just let me cook breakfast!" I giggled.
"I wanted to do something nice for you. All I need is practice." Yuki insisted.
I covered my mouth and opened one eye as I laughed.
"No, I think you just need talent."
"Mitsumi! Yuki! You're back!"
I inhaled sharply as Torhu tackled me in a hug.
"Ouch, hey. Nice to see you too."
Within seconds we had a large crowd around us. I didnt fail to notice the stupid fanclub in the front.
"Torhu," Kyo pushed him way towards us, "that probably hurts." He chastised as he hit the top of her head.
"I'm so sorry Mitsumi! I was just so excited to see you back in school!"
"But you saw me yesterday." I smiled slightly.
"Is it true you were beat up by a gang?" Someone asked.
All four of us sweatdropped.
"What?"
"I heard you were hit by a car!"
As people yelled out more stupid scenarios I felt more and more astounded.
"She was just in accident." Yuki stepped in front of me and easily subdued the crowd. "She isn't fully healed yet but insisted on coming back to school, so please be gentle with her." Yuki bowed and everyone either freaked or started fangirling.
"Yuki!" I smacked the back of his head. "Don't make me sound helpless!" I whined.
"Of course, I'm sorry." Yuki smiled gently at me.
"If Mitsumi was hurt then why were you absent Yuki?" A girl asked sweetly. The fanclub nodded insistently.
Yuki smiled. "I was taking care of Mitsumi, but we've been studying so don't worry about our absences affecting our grades."
"Of course!"
"Who is she that you would be absent for her?" A particularly brave fangirl demanded suddenly.
I crossed my arms and prepared to chastise her rudeness but Yuki beat me to it.
"Mitsumi is my girlfriend."
Or not.
It was perfectly silent for 7 seconds, then...
"HUH??"I sighed as yet another girl questioned me. Yuki had to deal with a lot on the student council, so he wasnt eating lunch with me. However, dozens of fangirls from every grade had arrived to question me.
And I ignored every one of them as I sipped my milkshake.
"When did it happen?"
"Have you hugged him?"
"Don't break the rules!!"
"What's it like?"
The questions went on and on. By the time lunch was half over I really wanted to punch someone.
"Hey!"
Everyone turned to look at Kyo.
"Can't you see she's tired? Jeez! How inconsiderate are you all?"
He grabbed my arm and yanked me to my feet.
"She is still hurt, and Yuki is off dealing with business. If you have questions ask him!"
I stumbled after Kyo.
"Hey, where are we going?" I asked as I stumbled, trying not to spill my drink.
"You're going to the student council room." He snapped.
Torhu ran up to us, "you found her!"
"Yeah I found her." Kyo opened the student council door.
Several people loohked up at us in surprise, Yuki included.
"She was being harassed by a bunch of your fans." Kyo turned his head and put his hands on his hips. "You should subdue them before they trample her you stupid rat!"
He turned and walked off stiffly. Torhu ran after him as a girl grabbed my stuff and led me to a seat.
"Kyo! Wait up!"
The girl smiled kindly at me as everyone snapped out of their shock
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine. I don't know why he snapped." I shrugged and sipped my milkshake as Yuki walked over.
"I'll talk to them..." he assured me.
I sighed lightly. "No need, I think Kyo scared them. Is there anything I can do while I'm here?"
"Uh, sure. We need these filed." A boy held up a stack of papers while Yuki returned to his own stack of papers he had been studying.
"I can do that."
"I'll help you." The girl stood beside me with a tiny smile.
"So I heard you used to live in America." She commented after a few minutes. The others were talking behind us as I easily filed the papers.
"I did."
"Did you have a job?" She asked.
I laughed lightly. "Kinda, my aunt worked in a large company and I was her assistant."
"Really? What did you do?" The girl was really pretty with dark hair.
"I usually just ran errands for her, but sometimes she would have me do her work for her. I became so good at her job that she had a tendency to just sleep." I laughed at the memory.
"What did she do?" The girl asked curiously.
"Hmm. She was the co owner of a huge dress company. She signed papers, chose fabrics, picked dress designs, attended these huge parties, stuff like that."
"Wow! What happened? Why are you living here?"
"Well, my aunt passed away. She had a heart attack." I laughed. "The doctor's said it was because of the stress."
"Im so sorry."
I filed the last of the papers. "Don't be, she left me the right to the company. When I turn 18 I can choose to inherit her position, or I can sell it."
"That's amazing! Would you have to move back to work?"
I shrugged as she handed me a new stack of papers to file.
"Yeah. I actually want to expand the company to Japan, but I'd have to move to America to get that done."
"That's so cool!"
I laughed. "Is it?"
"Yeah! Not everyone gets a whole company!"
I smiled uncertainly. "I guess not. Alright, what next?"
I turned to see everyone in the room staring at me. "Umm, hi?"
Yuki snapped out of whatever trance they were in first. "Mitsumi, would you mind helping me plan the schedule for next months activities?"
"Sure!" I slipped over to his side and sat beside him to scan the sheet.
"Okay, first we need to set up solid plan times."
