I am a warrior, marching till the end.
And I'll keep going, going till I'm dead.
You're a survivor, and of that I know.
So keep on fighting, fighting, my friend.
And we'll both make it to our troubles’ end.Oh those before us are so much stronger, it seems.
And those behind us have fallen to their dreams.
The path before us, a hard and desolate road;
The world behind us, a home none of us will know.
So press on, press on, my friend. And when you fall to the burdens and the strife,
I’ll help you see the hidden worth of life.
And when you stumble, and trip along this road
I’ll be there to pick you up, right by your side.
So fight on, fight on, my friend. And when it seems like everything is lost,
And when the night looks darker than before,
And when it looks like all will be for naught,
That’s when we’ll remember why we’ve fought. And when you seem to take your final breath,
And look around, hoping to feel death,
And when you lay down your tired, weary head,
We’ll pick you up, and run ahead.Because we pressed on through the blinding rain,
We ran through the beautiful days of sun.
And we crossed the boulders life had placed before us,
So we’ll keep pressing on, until the race is won.
We will press on, and make it to the end.
So run on, run on, my friend.Together, we’ll make it to our glorious end.
We’ll pass these burdens and leave the troubles behind.
We’ll keep fight the fight, run the race,
And step out into a brighter land.
