1. Two years later

LOUIS

Louis's alarm went off on the last day of his second year at University. He turned it off and groaned, he hated early classes, he wished all of them started at noon. Reluctantly he got out of bed and made his was to the kitchen were Liam was already dressed and drinking a cup of tea.

"Morning" Louis said groggily, his eyes barely open.

"Good morning sunshine". Liam replied with a cheerful smile.

"How are you so happy in the mornings?" The blue eyed boy wondered as he prepared himself a cup of tea and toast.

"It's the last day! One last exam and we're free!"

"Yeah, you're right"

Louis no longer lived alone, he and Liam had became best friends and they decided to be roommates when their first year ended. At the moment he and Harry had been dating for months, but they thought it was too soon to live together, they were both young and they didn't know if they could keep up with their relationship, eventhough they were madly in love with each other.

"So... What are we doing to celebrate tonight?" Liam asked.

"I don't know if I'm up to celebrate, I'm so tired, I have studied like mad, so I just want to sleep all day after the exam" Louis replied.

"Don't be boring Louis, you and Harry are like an old married couple, you never want to go out to party".

Louis laugh, he knew Liam was right.

"Ok, ok, I'll talk to Harry after I'm done and get back to you. Ask the rest of the boys what they are doing and we can all go out together".

"Great" Liam said standing up. "I have to go now, good luck in your exam" He grabbed his backpack which was laying on the floor next to him and headed out.

"Bye Li, good luck to you too" Louis shouted just before the door closed.

Louis finished his breakfast, took a shower and got dressed. He wore skinny jeans, which he loved to wear everyday, a graphic tshirt and his black vans. As he was going out the door his cellphone buzzed from inside his pocket, so he reached for it, and saw it was a message from Harry.

From Hazza ❤️ : good luck today love youre gonna do great xxx

To Hazza ❤️ : thank u hazza good luck to you too

From Hazza ❤️ : thanx, my exam is bout to start, i'll be waiting for u outside ur classroom when you finish, love u xxx

Louis smiled, he loved Harry with all his heart and could't imagine his life without him. Harry gave him confidence when he met new people, so he was no longer the shy boy he was on his first day of Uni.

He got to his classroom and took a seat where he usually sat, and took a deep breath. Thank God this was his last exam, he was so tired he did not have the strength to study even one more day. He was taking his pencil out when Perrie came running inside and sat next to him.

"I thought I was not going to make it in time, I woke up late" she said a little out of breath.

Louis met Perrie in a class a week after he met Harry, she sat next to him one day and she started talking non stop. Then they realized they had most classes together and they became friends, so Louis invited her to hang out with his, then, new group of friends. That is how Perrie met Zayn and they hit it off instantly, they even lived together now.

"Did Zayn kept you up all night doing the dirty?" Louis asked with a mischievous half smile.

"Shut up Tomlinson, I was up all night studying, I can't fail this class".

Just as she said that, the professor entered the room and in a few minutes the exam started.

An hour later, Louis handed his exam back and felt really confident that he would get a good grade. He made his way out of the classroom to find a very handsome Harry leaning against the opposite wall. He was wearing impossibly tight skinny jeans and a black tshirt, and like usual a head scarf which made him look ever hotter. He smiled at Louis and opened his arms for him. The shorter boy didn't even hesitate and fell against his boyfriend's arms.

"Hey babe, how did the exam go?" Harry asked and kissed Louis's hair.

"Great" he mumbled against Harry's chest "How was yours?".

"Goooood. Now let's go and be lazy at my apartment" he replied letting go of the embrace and taking Louis small hand in his big one.

"Should we get something to eat on our way there?" said Louis.

"What do you want to eat Boo?".

"I think I want celebratory ice cream! You up for it?".

"Of course love, whatever you want" Harry said pecking his boyfriend's lips quickly.

When they got to Harry's flat, it was empty, Niall was taking his last exam as well. They went to Harry's room with the ice cream bucket and two spoons. They sat down together in the bed, Louis between Harry's legs and they ate the ice cream happily while watching a silly romantic comedy they had seen way too many times.

When the movie was over Louis was resting his head on the crook of Harry's neck, while the older boy was lazily running his fingers through Lou's hair. Just when Louis was about to fall asleep cuddled against his boyfriend, his phone buzzed with a new message.

From Perrie : look what was waiting for me when i came out of the exam.

Attached to the message was a picture of Zayn holding an enormous bouquet of flowers, a big smile on his face.

Louis looked at the picture and felt so happy for Perrie, she was a nice girl, she deserved to be happy.

"Look" he said, showing the picture to Harry.

"Nice flowers" Harry commented.

"They're so pretty, why can't you be like Zayn and bring me flowers after an exam?" Louis asked his boyfriend with a pout on his face.

Harry stopped moving his fingers through Louis's hair and sighed, but didn't say a word. He stood up from the bed and went to the bathroom. What had just happened? Harry seemed a bit mad, although it was just a joke, Louis thought. But he could't help but wish Harry did romantic things like people did in the movies. It was not as if Harry wasn't a good boyfriend, he was, he was the best, he was always there for Louis, but he lacked those little romantic things other people did.

Louis heard the shower running after a while so he made himself comfortable in the bed and by the time Harry came out of the shower he had fallen asleep.
