LOUIS

Louis was craving homemade pizza with nutella, bacon and strawberries. He had seen it on pinterest and it looked so incredibly delicious, that Louis couldn't take it out of his mind, he even drooled a little thinking about it. Harry, being the best of all boyfriends in the entire world, had gone out to get the ingredients to cook exactly that for Louis's supper.

While he waited, Louis was sitting on the living room couch, his tshirt was lifted up and tied in a knot for it to stay there and he was rubbing cocoa butter lotion over his baby bump. Since Perrie told him the story of her friend, he had been doing that at least 3 times a day using all the different lotions Harry bought for him. Maybe it was a little excessive, but he had made promise to himself: he was not going to become a zebra.

"Why do you make me crave such weird things peanut?" Louis asked looking at his belly "Then I have to ask your daddy to go out to get them for us".

He grabbed another lotion that was on the coffee table and he put some on his bump and started rubbing it in circles, just as the label instructed to do.

"You know, in exactly a week from today we might be able to find out if you're a boy or a girl. I'm really excited to know and so is your daddy, but don't worry, we'll both be happy either way" he continued talking in a soothing voice.

Louis was now 15 weeks pregnant and Amy said that they would be able to find out the gender at the 16 week appointment, but only if the baby was in the right position.

"We need you to cooperate that day, would you do that for us peanut? If you do it..." Louis's phone rang interrupting what he was going to say.

He reached for it with his hands covered in lotion, and when he looked at the screen he noticed it was Liam calling.

"Hey Li, what's up? Louis said when he answered.

"Are you home?" Liam asked without even saying hello.

"Yeah, what's...?" Lou started to ask but he got cut off by Liam.

"Can I come over?".

"Yeah, sure".

Then the phone call ended and Louis frowned. What was that about? He guessed he was going to find out soon if Liam was coming over.

He got up and went to the bathroom to wash his hands, which were still greasy, and as his tshirt was still up he inspected his bump in the mirror, looking for any signs of stretch marks and thankfully there was nothing, so far so good. While he was doing that the doorbell rang.

"That was fast" Louis muttered to himself and he walked to the front door.

He opened the door and Liam was standing there with a sad expression on his face.

"We broke up" he simply said.

Louis hugged him tight right there on the doorway, he knew this was going to happen sooner or later, that relationship had been doomed for weeks now, but he still felt bad for Liam, he didn't like to see him sad. After a minute or so, Louis unwrapped his arms from his friend and he invited him in so they could talk.

"What happened?" Louis asked him when they were in the small living room.

Liam sighed.

"We were fighting about something stupid this morning, I don't even remember what it was, and that's when I realized that we had fought every single day for the last month, and I was tired. So I went to class after the fight was over and I thought about it all day and I decided I didn't want a relationship like that, you know?".
