34. It was humiliating

LOUIS

Louis was just finishing getting ready to go to class, Harry had left 20 minutes earlier for his internship after they ate breakfast together. It was Friday, and the entire week one of their friends had walked him to class and then back to the flat, which was a little too much in Louis's opinion, but it made Harry happy so that's why Louis let it happen.

The doorbell rang when he was putting his coat on, just in time, he though. He walked to the front door and saw Zayn standing there along with Perrie.

"Hey guys" Louis greeted.

"Hey Lou, ready to go?" asked Zayn.

"Yeah, let me get me get my bag" Louis said and turned around to pick it up, he had left in on a chair.

"I'll grab it for you" Zayn said walking inside the flat and taking it before Louis.

"I feel bad when you carry my bag, you don't even carry Perrie's" Lou said when they were getting inside the elevator.

"You shouldn't be, I'm not pregnant so I'm fine carrying my own bag" Perrie pointed out.

"She's right" Zayn agreed.

Louis just rolled his eyes at the couple.

"So how's little Jasper today?" asked Perrie.

"Who's Jasper?" Zayn frowned while he opened the building's door and let Louis and Perrie walk out first.

"Louis's baby, keep up love" Perrie told her boyfriend.

"That's not his name Perrie" Louis argued.

"I'm lost" said Zayn.

"Pez decided to start calling peanut Jasper when I told her Harry and I were waiting until he's born to name him" Louis explained.

Zayn laughed and shook his head fondly at his girlfriend.

"That's his name Lou, deal with it" Perrie insisted.

"No, it's not. Jasper isn't even on the short list" Louis regretted saying that the minute the words came out of his mouth.

"There's a short list?" Perrie asked excited.

"No" denied Louis.

"What names are on the list?" the blond said.

"I'm not going to tell you" Louis replied.

"Tell me and I'll choose the name for you!" Perrie suggested.

"No".

"Come on Louis! You're ruining my fun!".

"Perrie you can't name my baby, have your own baby and then you can choose a name for him or her" Lou suggested.

"Don't give her ideas Lou" Zayn replied instead of his girlfriend.

"Trust me Z, I don't want to have a baby any time soon" Perrie said "How would I manage to take care of a baby and stay in school? It would be impossible, I would end up dropping out".

Louis gulped when Perrie said that, that was one of his biggest concerns. It was exactly what his mum said when he went home for Christmas, and he still had no idea how he was going to do work things out.

"Perrie!" hissed Zayn.

"What?" she asked.

Zayn tried to discreetly point at Louis's direction with his head, probably noticing that what Perrie said affected Lou.

"Oh" Perrie widened his eyes "Lou, don't listen to me, I was talking about myself. You're going to be fine, you're way smarter than me, so don't worry".
