HARRY

Harry was packing his bag in his room in Holmes Chapel, it was December 30 and Louis and him where going back home that morning.

"Is your bag ready?" Harry asked Louis when he finished his own.

"Yes" Louis said.

"I'll take it to the car then" Harry said and went to pick it up "Do you want me to take the pillow too?".

"If you want" Louis replied without looking at him.

That's how things had been like since they arrived in Holmes Chapel, Louis had barely looked at him and he only spoke to him when it was necessary. After the fight they had in the car, Harry thought they were going to kiss and make up the same day, like they always did when they had stupid fights, but things hadn't gone that way this time.

Harry grabbed the pillow and went downstairs with it and both their bags and went outside to put them in the car. While he was trying to accommodate everything in the trunk (it was difficult considering it was small and it already held the box of baby things Jay had given them plus the car seat) Anne walked up to him.

"You have lots of things there, maybe you should put some of them in the back seat" his mum suggested.

"Yeah I think I'll put the pillow there... and the car seat" Harry said and started doing that exact thing.

"Do you need help?" Anne asked.

"It's fine mum, I got it" said Harry.

"Okay".

"Ready" Harry said when he was done and he leaned against the side of the car.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay for lunch?" Anne asked while she stood in front of him.

"I'm sure, if we leave now we won't catch too much traffic, I don't want us to spend more time than we need to in the car, Louis gets too uncomfortable" Harry explained.

"That's reasonable" she nodded

They both walked back to the house and they sat down on the wooden bench that was placed next to the front door.

"Harry?".

"Yeah?".

"Is everything okay between you and Louis?" questioned Anne looking at Harry's eyes.

"Uhmm yeah" Harry said but it was not convincing.

"Tell me the truth Harry. Did something happen?".

"Yeah" Harry sighed and looked at the floor.

"Talk to me honey" she said taking Harry's left hand in both hers.

"We had a fight when we were driving here, and it's not like we don't fight every once in a while, because we do, we're not perfect, but we always make up in the same day" Harry explained "I have no idea why this time it's different, it's been like 5 days since it happened and Louis is barely talking to me".

"Why is he not talking?" wondered Anne.

"I'm not sure. I've tried asking him, but it's like I'm talking to a wall. I don't know what to do, I've tried everything I can think of, but he refuses to talk to me" Harry said.

That was true, Harry had tried everything; on Christmas day he had given Louis space because he thought that was what he wanted, but when he tried talking to him hours later he had ignored him. The next day he tried being nice, he baked Louis's favourite cookies and he tried to cuddle and kiss him, but Louis had pushed him away. Then he tried yelling at him to get him to yell back at least, but Louis didn't budge.
