Sadness is a complex variety of emotion.
In my case, you're fine one second,
And in a pit of bleakness the next.
You're never really "happy",
You just have better days.
Sometimes you wish you didn't have
To deal with the ocean of tears pooling up
Behind your eyes,
Threatening to spill out
At any moment,
And cause a flood.
I'm sad.
I don't know why,
But I'm so sad,
And my existence is paining me
To the point of wanting to cry.
