Chapter 10

*RING RING* sounds the bell signalling that lunch is over and it's time for class. Science I think. Which I have with Iziah but then the next class I don't. We walk to science and for once I'm not scared or worried about what Justin and his gang might do.

*skip to end of class*

"Well that wasn't as bad as usual, I only got hit with one mean note and hardly any comments"

"You still don't deserve any of what they do to you, but I'm glad that it's lessoning."

He insisted on walking me to my next class, he claimed, 'I promised to never leave your side, so therefore you have no choice but to let me walk you there.' I have to admit it was quite sweet of him.

"I'll walk you home after school ok?"

I tried to hide the fact that I was blushing and smiled, "I'd love that."

I walked into class confidently, but as soon as I sat down I realised that Iziah wouldn't be here this time. what if Justin was awful again? Stop it Emily, think positive. I took out my book and began copying down the notes when I heard the voice I was dreading.

"Think your all tough now with your little boyfriend?" He smirked evilly.

"H he's not my b boyfriend" shit why am I stuttering again.

"I don't give a shit, meet me behind the school after class, oh, and don't make it worse for yourself by not showing up."

I was shivering in fear at his words. I had to know this was coming. he always does something awful if i try to make a friend. Last time he filled my locker with water balloons so wen I opened it they all fell out at me. and the time before that he threw eggs at me and the girl I was talking too, this was in food tech which is how he got the eggs, but seriously, who throws eggs at people??

For the rest of the lesson I kept getting hit with paper balls and being called a lot of hurtful things, but none of it fazed me, all I could think about was after school. I had no idea what he was gunna do to me and to be honest, I was petrified.

Suddenly the bell sounded. my heart stopped when I realised that school was over, but the daily hell I go through wasn't. I slowly collected my things and started walking to the back exit. I was quivering and dreading what would happen when I walked through the doors.
