Chapter 9

Emily's P.O.V

"It all started when I moved up here two years ago, my parents died in a car accident so me and my sister had to move here with my grandmother. When I got to school I was getting weird looks from everyone.. (A/N She explains everything, I'm too lazy too write all that haha)

Iziah's P.O.V

Wow.

This girl has been through so much. she is so strong to deal with all that for two years. With no one to help her through it, even her sister ignored her and even went along with the school in hating her. I hated that she had to go through all of this without anyone by her side, so I decided something after hearing that.

I'll be that person. I'll be there when she needs someone.

Emily's P.O.V

"Emily, you are such a strong girl. but you shouldn't have to deal with that on your own. I'll be the person you can go to anytime or day. When they bring you down I'll be right there to lift you back up, to protect you from harm. your not alone anymore. I promise I'll always be by your side."

I hugged him, so tightly, like he would slip away if I let go. He just said he'll be there for me, to protect me even though we only just met. I just hope that they don't hurt him too.

"Iziah what if they hurt you too?"

"I don't care, as long as your safe I'll be happy."

I smiled. a genuine happy smile. Finally the universe had sent something good my way.
