Chapter 7

"Ok class today we will be picking songs for our half yearly exam performances, you will be doing this in pairs and yes I will be choosing the groups."

Shit. what if I end up with Justin?

The sound of the door opening cut me off from my thoughts.

"Um Hi, I'm Iziah Matthews is this Mr Stuarts class?"

"Yes, you must be the new kid. Just take a seat up the back next to Emily. Emily please raise your hand."

When I saw his face my heart literally stopped. He was gorgeous. He had ocean blue eyes, golden curls and the most beautiful smile i'd ever seen. I watched as he made his way over to me.

"Hi, I'm Iziah." Omg his voice is perfect too.

"Emily, nice to meet you."

"You too."

I smiled, this is the first time someone's been nice to me at this school.

"So as I was saying I will be putting you in pairs for the half yearly's, Iziah I know your new but you are still expected to perform."

"Yes sir" he nodded, then I know this sounds crazy but I swear he started staring at me but I was too scared to look, so I just pretended not to notice.

"Ok the pairs will be, Carly and Jake, Connor and Demi, Justin and Rita and Emily and Iziah."

Wait. did he say that I was with Iziah? omg Im so happy, I thought I would get put with Justin. I tried to hide my happiness as I didn't know if he wanted to be my partner. oh well.

"now you will have time in class to prepare this but I advise you arrange to meet up with your partners after school to practise some more, good luck guys."

Iziah turned to face me and flashed a smile.

"Cool, so do you um, want to come over later?"

Omg he just asked me to his house. calm down brain it's just for a project.

"Yeah sounds good, so what instrument do you play?"

"I play a few actually, like guitar and piano. mainly piano though and I also sing, what about you?"

"Uh mainly guitar and piano, I sing aswell."

We went on getting to know each other for the rest of the lesson. We didn't really get much done but I couldn't care less. For once someone was talking to me in a nice calm friendly way and not insulting me.

"Hey um, can I uh have your number?"

Ok I must be dreaming. But I'm not. Omg this is actually happening. I blushed.

"Yeah sure"

We swapped phones and put in our contacts. When he handed it back I looked at the contact name "Iziah ❤️"
Aww he put a love heart.

"Hey do you know where this classroom is?"

He showed me his timetable and I couldn't help but feel someone watching me. I noticed that we had almost every class together today. Just not last period.

"Follow me were in the same class."

"Ok cool."

He did it again. he smiled that gorgeous smile again and I swear I melted.

Okay so I decided that I don't want to use Ashton as the character for my book so I am changing him to Iziah Matthews, you can still picture him as Ashton if you want to but I just wanted to change it. Sorry for any confusion xxx

So Iziah is the new kid and is being nice to Emily. what do you think is gunna happen? will he break her heart like everyone else or stick by her side?
