Tex approached the address on the paper he was given. It was a large apartment building. Tex sat on the building across from it and looked for the apartment 13a, as he was directed to find.
This apartment apparently held the man who bullied Tex as a child. Connor. The name itself made Tex's blood boil. He had grown accustomed to hiding his emotions, showing no fear, anger, sympathy, or happiness. The thought of this childhood bully made his anger spill out without control. Tex clenched his fists as he confirmed the apartment through the windows. His mask has a built in telescope like thing that helps him scope out areas for his kills.
Tex stood straight up. He took a deep breath. And then hesitated.
He was not used to emotions. Now he had no control over them. The memories keep flooding back. The countless days of torture by this boy and his gang.
You filthy beggar, didn't your parents teach you to wash - woops!
Look at this piece of garbage lying in the street. I hate litter. But this is far too gross to clean up.
Look! He's crying! What a little girl! Don't go tattling to your parents now, alri - oh, sorry!
And every day that pathetic boy always had the most annoying laugh. Tex shut his eyes tight, tensing his body, trying not to scream. But he did anyway. A few crows flew up into the air.I
"It's okay, boy."
Tex spun around to see the familiar plant man standing in front of him.
"What you are feeling is perfectly normal. That anger towards him is natural. Use that anger to fuel your actions. Take care of him to make sure he never hurts another person again." The man placed his hand on Tex's shoulder and smiled a large, creepy smile. Tex had no desire to disobey him. Tex's only desire was to see Connor dead. Tex turned back around and kept from the building, out of Thorn's sight.
Did you do it?
Yes I did, doctor!
Good. He should be under our control now.
Our little vines have been silently slipped into his skin, connecting to his nervous system and everything else. Your command becomes reality. He doesn't have the desire to disobey you.
Good. Let's see it work. I see a plant in Connor's apartment.
Tex landed in the balcony outside Connor's apartment. Another quick scope showed no one was inside. Tex quickly shattered the window and walked inside.
Tex decided to search the place. See if there are any secrets hidden in here, see what he is possibly up against. But his doubts of hidden difficulty increased with what he found: Expired Ramen, dirty magazines, full sink of dirty dishes, overdue bills, Tex was feeling slightly sorry for the guy.
Then one quick peek into his bedroom changed it.
The man had a secret wall covered in tools and weapons of every shape and size. Tex recognized most of them. Shuriken, kunai, kukri, Katana, climbing claws, and much much more. Tex was surprised. But now a bit excited to see what this man had in store.
A sound of keys and a door handle was the deciding factor of whether or not to hide. Tex turned the wall back around then leapt into the closet.
"... Yeah. Yes. Uh huh. Yep. Mom, I get it! I get it! Yes, Yes I do. No, no I don't. Okay, love you too. Bye. Okay... Time to... What the hell?!"
No doubt Connor just saw the shattered window. And his slightly trashed living room.
"What... What happened?! Is... Someone..."
